- In this video, I show how to replace the Harmonic Balancer and Front Crankshaft Seal on my 2010 Honda CRV. This is a relatively simple repair for anyone who is mechanically inclined. It took me about 1-1.5 hours to get this repair completed (I am spoiled with a lift and heated garage haha).
I noticed this oil leak dripping recently after it snowed and there was a fresh oil spot in the snow. After starting the car and watching it run, I also noticed the harmonic balancer was wobbling REALLY BAD so I replace that as well in this video to prevent catastrophic damage. Thanks as always for watching! Please leave a comment with any questions in regard to the repair!
I got the Harmonic Balancer and Front Crank Seal for this repair from RockAuto.com
