Yeah the Auxito guys were the first of what I would consider "legit" sponsors. I was contacted by another company that does led lighting a month or so ago, but the guy was flaky and didn't seem interested in what I had to offer, so I declined.
The cheap Amazon / eBay ones don't seem to last for me. The ones in mine now are from Auxito on eBay, but any of the more expensive ones would probably work just the same.
Hi. I changed mine to LEDS and and they worked. As soon as I changed the bulb that illuminated the headlight and wiper knobs to the bottom left of the steering wheel, it all went out. Any help? Thanks.
Did you turn the dimmer knob? Some LEDs won't dim, so that may be it. Did you check fuses? Also don't replace the bulb for the battery light as it can cause charging issues.
Are the idiot lights in this cluster (airbag, brake, etc.) also 194s or are they a different size? Figure if I'm gonna pull my cluster I might as well replace all of them.
Yes they are. I originally did all of mine with led, but when I made this video I switched back to standard bulbs on the warning lights and turn signal indicators. Also the alternator HAS to have a standard bulb in the battery light circuit to work properly. I figured the warning lights shouldn't be on anyway, so it's kind of a waste.
@@EvanWells07 Makes sense. I bought a couple of the 10-packs of bulbs to do all of my interior lights, and I have enough left over to do all the warning lights as well. Think I'll just leave those incandescent and call it a day.

I don't remember exactly. I think I bought 20 total, so I had some left over.
Super easy upgrade, you should do this to your Ranger too. I did it to my ‘99 & it looks phenomenal. Lasfit bulbs are what I used for mine.
When the time comes to get back around to the interior, I am definitely doing this!

Yes they are dimmable. I tend to drive with them at half brightness anyway.

I never made one other than this. It's pretty easy other than removing the little cable for the PRNDL which isn't terrible but a little tricky.

Is the odometer lit by led or is it self illuminated?
It's lit by the same LED bulbs.
I should say it doesn't have its own bulb.

These ones are kind of, they don't dim a ton before they shut off.
