Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip! Great time of the year to go if you don’t want to swim! We spent a couple of Thanksgiving weeks there and loved the smaller crowds.
Great question, we are dog lovers too! We personally have never brought our dog here, but I just checked and it seems that Destin Harborwalk is in fact dog friendly!
we have 3 kiddos and are going to destin for the first time in a few weeks. We wanted to take the kids snorkeling and was told to jetty east, have you been and if so, what are your thoughts? Our kiddos are 5,7,10 yrs old. Thanks!
Hope you have the best time!!! Jetty East holds a lot of fish and is a popular snorkeling spot, but it’s not easily accessible unless you are on a snorkeling tour, staying at a condo on that point, or want to walk a long ways with your kids in the sand with all your gear. Also, the water there is deep and current strong since it’s right at the mouth of Destin Pass. Not discouraging you from going because it is definitely the best snorkeling spot! It just might be tough for the younger ones. With a 5 and 7 yr old, you might enjoy signing up for a snorkeling tour with guide, or renting your own pontoon and driving it out to crab island. Crab island is a great spot to put goggles on and find some fish, hermit crabs, and other surprises. The bay just west of crab island has some really shallow water as well and I’ve seen many guided tours anchored there snorkeling as well. With your own pontoon, you can almost always find dolphins back in the bay as well which makes it a fun outing when paired with some snorkeling. For best water clarity wherever you go, pick a time when the tide is coming in (getting close to high tide) and not when is comes out of the bay (low tide). Makes a huge difference if you are in the pass or bay and want that clear water that Destin is famous for!
Talk about the shooting at Harbor Walk by Coyote Uglys, the Covid that is everywhere, the sharks in the water, the flesh eating diseases in the water & robbing of tourist.

Very interesting!
Thank you!! We love this place!
I went there in August 2019. I do not, however, recall the Magnolia tree.
Can I bring dog with me (my dog is not a service dog) ? Is there a dog friendly restaurant in there?

We arrived yesterday and decided tonight to explore a little and went to harbor village.Boring, cheesy, definitely not worth it.....
Destin is over priced & nothing to do. Becareful, especially at Harbor walk cars get broke into, tourist are robbed, fights & women are harassed.
@@andrewlafata3116 Thank you for the heads up.Also don't do the "throw the axe and get $100 , it 's a scam!
