I can almost see catfish and dunkey,craig,bigg bubba,the martin boys,cathy the queen of bait,wanda and action jackson,all of the crazy snapper boat captains and thier crews of exstream misfits. Each and every colorful character of the worlds luckiest fishing village is still etched in my mind. Snapper john says hey yall.

The true hidden gems of destin florida are long gone. It was beautiful peaceful small town america at one time. Then the prominent land owners sold out their birth rights to progress and development . When you call something paradise ,you can kiss it goodbye. I used to live there back in the day,when there was no new highway and alot of sand roads . To many people crammed in to one small space that is hard to get in and out of. The traffic bottlenecks at destin and becomes a nightmare.
