I have been to Mcguires Irish Pub numerous times. One of the restaurants you got to try when going. The Irish food is real. The beer is brewed there and it’s a got the James Bond drink! What more could you want. The Burgers are huge and cheap, one was featured on food network they say on the menu. Oh and ladies nights free beer! 😎☘️🥂🍺

Destin for a more relaxed beach trip, Panama for more attractions/party town

The zip lines at harbor walk are great
Really enjoyed this one! Loved the bowling alley and, naturally, the aerialist and stilt walker. I visited there a loooooong time ago as a kid and will return in the near future. Looks awesome!

Crab island used to be a real island hurricane washed it away in 1975.

FudPuckers? Dang. I would have went a lot of other places lol. Any other place. FudPuckers is not bad but nowhere near what Destin has to offer as far as decent food goes for the price.

I'm in the health field and I am going the end of August. Numbers are not as high in the Emerald Coast as many other places. I have as much chance of getting it there vs if I went into my local gas station in my small rural Midwest town.

As of January 1st 2022 Crab Island will be closed to the public and is being taken over by the federal government for preservation.
This video was obviously shot in the early spring because it’s a bit misleading. 1. Big Kahuna water park has been opened for some time, and it’s PACKED!
2. There are plenty of access points to the beach, and the beaches are packed! 3. Don’t waste your time or money on a glass bottom boat. Rent a jet ski for the same price and see wild dolphins up close. 4. The crab Island segment is a bit misleading as well, because during memorial day through Labor Day the place is packed after 11 AM. 5. WATCH OUT FOR SHARKS 🦈 because they are everywhere. 6. Yes I am a full-time resident and I know.

Why do most videos and photos online have the water looking so beautiful and BLUE in Destin and Crab Island and yet we are here now and it is not like that? Right at the beginning of your video you are showing the water at the beach and Crab island looking like what we are seeing here now....not like the Caribbean, not Blue or Turquoise? Why? I am very disappointed as I was thinking it was really beautiful here....the white sand is nice, really nice but the water does not look any different than Myrtle Beach SC and Treasure Island Florida where I was last year and most other beaches...How can the water here in Destin in many videos and photos on Google Images look so Turquoise and gorgeous?
There’s certain times of the day that is “high tide” which makes the water a beautiful clear blue. Certain months are better than others as well. More than likely you can find the best conditions of water during “high tide” you can easily Google what time that may be and plan your beach trip around that. What your seeing is probably all the sand & ocean debris that gets washed up after the tide comes in.
Destin/Okaloosa County has had a beach access problem for years. City officials were too busy focusing on 'progress' with their buddy real estate developers that many people (including locals) got left empty-handed. The biggest public beach access areas aren't even owned by the local city/county, they are a Florida State Park and US Air Force property. Most natives probably have a pretty negative opinion of Peter Bos/city officials if you asked.

Ruined! They ruined Destin! Look at the monstrosity they built on the beach in the beginning of this video. Not to mention the horrendous beach traffic as a result!! Totally over built!! It so crowded in the summer, never going back. We avoid it at all cost!
