Lings power is related to poetry. In general the Sui siblings are all related to the 12 Chinese arts. 1. Warfare (most likely the oldest brother) 2. Architecture 3. Smithing (nian) 4. Painting (dusk) 5. Poetry (ling) 6. Cooking (unnamed brother mentioned by nian) 7. Calligraphy (probably jie, the sibling confirmed to be dead through conversations of the 2nd brother) 8. Music instruments 9. Sculpture 10. Pottery (most likely 2nd brother, the one we see have put one part of his soul in Lee and the teacup respectively) 11. Embroidery 12. Gardening (mentioned to be. Guy as well) Theory time: The name of the boss Sui xang also refers to the Chinese New year cycle, but it doesn't seem like the individual siblings are particularly designed around the zoodiac. Maybe there used to be 12 yanese gods representing the zoodiacs, and Sui was the dragon and helped Yan kill the rest.

Demons of the North are getting more aggressive, Seabornes are growing stronger, Nian's said faith. We are getting ready for the changing of Terra as a whole and we are the gears that will make it happen
Especially that the Ægir are struggling to hold the Seaborne off with the //////// King and he's armies doing everything they can to stop the demons from coming here, It's scary af what would happen next.

The part about only 30% of the army being wiped out Was a mistranslation. The correct number would be that only 30% would still be ALIVE. Sometimes the localization can be a bit wonky.
Regarding number 7, Nian wasn't ordered by the Yanese Government. The government only made a deal with her. She builds mobile cities for them, and they help her with her plan. I wouldn't say the Yanese Government has power over them. The siblings just choose to deal with them. Otherwise, great video!
@Fyrethorne From what's understood, Sui didn't intend to help the mortals when he turned on his bretheren - he intended to be the _only_ faranmut dominating the mortals. Which is why they monitor the siblings so closely; if Sui returns, he'll do so as a calamity.
This is just speculation, but maybe a way to find out the siblings' "birth" order is their birthdays, Ling was born on March 3rd, Nian on September 9th and Dusk on November 11th, so, for example, if this is true, Ling would be the 3rd oldest out of the 12 Sui siblings.
That means they were all "born" on the corresponding day to their month, i.e. 1/1, 2/2, etc. So based on that theory, we have the 9th, 11th, and 3rd siblings, in that order. Kinda random, tbh.
i like the fact that there are 12 Siblings. There probably is some deep inspirations for it lore-wise, but all 12 Siblings make up all 12 player-only slots on a team. . . . . . . i'm hoping that in the future when all the Siblings have emptied our wallets, a big event involving Yan, Sui, and the Siblings will have one of the last stages force us to use all 12 of them in a team without support unit. (like all TR-stages, and how we have a mandatory Suzuran in ToW, Rosmontis in Chapter 8, etc.)
Seems like Nian is the only one who cares about her siblings as individuals, while the others don’t have a problem with merging and losing their respective selves. That’s pretty sweet of Nian
I'm about ten months to late but what I believe is that Nian is starting to have hope again. She used to give up like others did, but later down the line, I believe it's on one of her records, she realized that even a small thing she did can make an impact in the world and leave something or someone to remember about her. Meaning she found that her life isn't all that about merging and still have a purpose. That's the reason why she helps Rhodes, that's why she met kal'tsit to have her join, and that's also why she is pursuing movies because she knows that stories in the big screen can make a mark for a long time even centuries, and the names who made it always to be remembered

Though Rhodes Island focuses on combating oripathy, Kalt´sit clearly works towards saving the world in general. In all the side story events she is feautured in, you can see her working in the shadows to direct things to positive conclusions. I think the same goes for the Sui situation. Nian likely talked with her about her plan and Kalt´sit agreed to help to prevent the Sui from wrecking havoc. Terra has 4 threats that could end the world hiding in its dark corners (The spread of Oripathy, the northern daemons, the southern sea horrors and the eastern Sui), if Rhodes Island can help neutralize one, then you bet Kalt´sit will give the demi-godess with the plan whatever she needs.

Correct me if I'm wrong but according to lore, one of the Nian siblings died (the calligraphy one) because they fought with the 2nd Brother (the antagonist of Ling's event, or the guy using Lee as an avatar). And on that note, I don't find it likely that the 2nd brother would be even playable considering he just wants to revive their true form to go on a massive killing spree again. But I am interested in seeing the 1st brother or the very first sibling that managed to answer "who am I?". PS: That "who am I" question gives me CHIM vibes

I'm eager to see the rest of the nine sui siblings that are scattered throughout Yan and possibly all of Terra. I do hope we get a male deity after this. And also, i figure that half of them should either come up as friendly NPCs or bosses with the other half being playable characters (Like Nian, Dusk, and Ling with three more to go) Just to make it interesting.
