Great video, very helpful.. Question at time 2:02 what is the purpose for the 10mm connection at this location? The reason I'm asking is I have an aftermarket diffuser I plan to install and it does not have the protruding mounting point for that 10mm bolt. Do you think not having it would pose an issues?
The bumper clips to the lower shield all along the bottom edge, this is an additional mount point to ensure the two panels don't separate. I would imagine you will be fine if this tab is not on your new part and it's a mod.
Why remove it the shitty ass car removes it's own bumper just drive through some puddles those enginers must be brilliant can't even fix a bumper to the rest of the car yet they can sell it to millions of people good job Tesla
Can you remove ONLY the UNDERSHIELD without taking the bumper/diffuser off the car?

My left side of the rear bumper is not flush. I heard Tesla came out with an updated bracket? Have you heard of this?
I don't know about this, wouldn't be surprised if they updated a part like that though.
How long did it take to remove the bumper? Thanks!
It was around 1.5 hrs.
You can also just drive it in the rain
Haha
This is way too complicated. Bumper removal is accomplished easily by driving through a puddle.
