I changed my headlight assembly on my 2017 and went through the wheel well to get access to the lower 3rd bolt. What a PITA

Mine was leaking. The 9mm bolts were pretty loose. Torqued them down and no leaks. Thanks for the video got me where I needed to be.

Can you remove ONLY the UNDERSHIELD without taking the bumper/diffuser off the car?

I used to be a technical instructor in the USAF, one point, your audience/students cannot learn when your back is facing them. Next, what did you use to clean the surface before applying the decal. I like the stripe you applied. Hint: show the tape you used, you did, next show the surface cleaner and it’s use, show the tape and it’s many parts, get the idea I’m talking about. You never explained the importance of the “clean” surface.

I noticed you cut the silver pieces to end at the very edge of the door - some other videos i watched wrapped the tape back around/under the edge of the panel. Is there a reason for doing it one way vs another, or is one more professional?

I just resealed my rear window and replaced both cab seal/strips while the window was out. Thank you for the video! My cab corner strips were just old and dry rotted so i wanted to replace them but after reading more I am glad I did because some people said the rivets caused their leak.

I takeoff the top clear layer all in one piece and then I go back and cut in between the doors. I got a watch this again because I really didn’t see what you did. I saw you trim before you took the clear off. The hardest part for me is taking that clear off.

Toyota/Lexus really screwed up on so many dashes. My Sienna had the same problem but Toyota refused to fix it.

hey, where did you get the replacement dash?

My dad left me his '07 with 50,000 miles, and the car is perfect except for the gummy dash pad. Guess it looks like it will stay that way.

Right after he removes the tape from the new 3m seal on the glass he shows the back of the cab and there is a lot of residue left from the OEM seal. Will the 3M window weld tape seal to that residue? If it all needs to be removed what works the best?

Did mine today. Nowhere near as painful as I thought. Hopefully it holes up.

Did you clean the sealing surfaces completely or install as shown with the residual adhesive? I’m not sure how clean the surfaces need to be.
