    It happened to me at 80km/h with the VRS, I think if the puddle is that big, you have to be lucky until tires get grip again

    Scary stuff. ESC seems to be off? I can't imagine so much fishtailing on a straight road.

      close call indeed. There was so much water there. The steering action pulled the car along in the intended direction with the electronic aids, helped in no small measure by a fat slice of lady luck :-)

      This never happened to me in 4yr been having the same car on coastal road, blame it on Hankook?

      @@vekeyes3861no no. he is running michelin PS4's. The standing water was way too much and he went in without noticing. At that water depth and speed of entry, tires dont matter.

    @0:14 another white car got flipped over in the central meridian possibly also by hydroplaning

      yes. The passengers from that accident had exited the car and were still standing on the median. A lot of things could have gone wong if another vehicle had aquaplaned and struck the median. Thankfully, nothing else happened. A good lesson nevertheless!

    Luck indeed. Engineering can handle law of physics only to some extend. Be sane, that's a very very fast driving on the wet roads.
