2 positions*, Calafiori can play LB as well. We also play in 4 competitions next year, 2-3 games per week, we need 4 good CB's no drop offs! It's smart, if we go into next season with Radu, Micky and Cuti. it would be a travesty!

I would be happy with Toney and Gallagher. I like calafiori but think maybe Geertruida 23y/o would be a better fit as he can play CB, LB, RB and is around 25m. Not to sure about Toneys attitude so would prefer someone different but if Ange says hes the man then i go with it because Ange knows his system better than anyone and also should know who fits it best
Geertruida is certainly a versatile defender, I see him at Liverpool though! Ange always has a conversation with a player prior to signing, if they don't check his boxes they don't sign here!!

I think Tony will only be a target if it’s sth Ange has wanted since at least January, the guys upstairs now sort of have a system in place to recruit. Like you said Tony and Gallagher will improve the squad but it’s not title challenge recruiting but definitely a cup and top 4 which will have to be the target whoever we sign.

Do we need Gallagher as much as we need a 6. Toney i did want but he hasn't been great since coming back from his ban but i think in ange's he would score a lot of goals
Another midfielder like Gallagher I do get, I think half of our defensive issues come from a poor attack (ironically), I have faith Bentancur can be that guy, but I would like another 6 ideally! On toney, I do think he would score more goals for us hands down than at Brentford, but like you, the fact he's not scored in 12 is a pause for concern
Ghallagher is a brilliant presser which is why Ange would like him, with the chances we have let go this season, Toney will make hay if he joins us !! ✌

We have 7-8 players on loan,+ 3/4 player who did not really play like Lo Celso and Gil, so we can sell 10 player, without loosing anything on the squad, and then if we get 3-4 players ready for the starting 11, is more then enough.
