Its insane how many players come out of of the academy and perform on the highest level at a young age. There are just to many right now to name everyone and maybe there will come even more this year, who knows. Casadó for example came out of nowhere suddenly

And to think 6 players out of 11 starting against Bayern came directly from La Masia... this might actually be the real rebirth of Barcelona after 10 years. It's unbelievable how Flick transformed this team in just some months, it almost seems like they played this way since a decade.

    • @quangtrungbui675

Not to take anything away from flick , this Barça team won the league a season before. They had all the qualities but their key youngsters were sidelined most of last season . Casado integrated as well.
Pedri, Dejong , Gavi ,Balde , even Raphina had been sidelined , Xavi didn't have much options.
But Flick clearly improved the team on a perfomance level with the high defensive line and more direct football at times.

I would like to mention the indvidiual ability of Barcelona's players, as that was one of the main reasons Barça eventually figured out the Press. Casado and Pedri were both excellent in taking 2 or 3 touches even under the pressure and slowing the tempo and beat their man, which goes along way aganist a m2m system.

Exactly, pedri, casado & lamin beating bayern's press again and again made bayern players fraustrated and they eventually lost courage to win the game, it also helped barca progress the ball agressively since bayern's sracture was temporarily broken whenever pedri or casado beats the press... it's crazy how pedri attracts a number of opposition but still manages to escape with the ball.

Also, Lamine's dribbling. I think this match was won on the 1v1 situations. Barça couldn't get up the field in the beginning until those 3 started getting past their man

    • @nonameinsouthafrica3315
      @nonameinsouthafrica3315 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

True... What people under estimated about Barcelona under Xavi was that he had midfielders who are masters of absorbing pressure. I think La Masia graduate midfielders are specialists of this skill. Even Xavi, Busquets and Iniesta were excellent at this. This is what Guardiola learned and has been exporting to every team he coaches.
The problem with other teams trying to copy this, they don't have players educated properly in this style.

Pedri as well as Lamine. When Bayern equalized then flick changed the pressing pattern, after that change pedri and Lamine were getting on the easily and both the full back were getting enough time to pass the ball to lewa ,fermin or raphinha. Barca got world class technical players which is why Bayern failed to dominate barca after Equalizer.

Interesting also, that Flick is a comparable similar situation with young talents from La Masia like Pep 16 years ago. Very happy to see Barca finally being the ones with the younger squad and pacy forwards. With all due respect to these players when they were at their peak, we used to keep the likes of Lenglet, Arturo Vidal, Busquets, Pique, Rakitic and many more who were well past their prime for games like this. There was even a time when we had random guys like Malcolm, Douglas, Arthur, Paulinho, Frank Kessie, Griezmann, in the team. Some were 1 hit wonders and others were just a complete waste of money. It's a long time coming but am happy to see a resurgent Barca. Credits to Xavi for helping initiate change but it was right for him to go and be replaced by Flick. Sure, injuries ravaged the team last season but he couldn't keep a level head most of the time.

The main reason why im not worried against madrid is that we didn’t even have a perfect game against bayern tactically. Our flanks were getting overwhelmed a lot. But madrid can have a goal or two if they can score them. I’m just confident that we will outscore them and also have much more of the ball. It should be much easier to play around madrid’s defense, if recent games are anything to learn from. Madrid’s main threat is the left side in the form of Vini Jr who can eliminate two or three players and break your lines. But again, I absolutely don’t see them being more dangerous than us. I am confident the worst we can do is draw against them. Not to be overconfident, but I really fail to see how they will win. Then again, I remember saying this against man city and they made it through…
Heck I don’t even care if we don’t win. As long as we play high intensity football and the lads are enjoying themselves, I’ll take it.
Coming into this week, many expected a humiliation against bayern and a defeat at madrid. With already 3 point and a historic spanking of bayern, I’d say we already beat expectations regardless of saturday’s game. That being said, as long as there is no red card or anything like that, I see us winning 3-1.

For me I think Kompany got his tactics largely right, but it exposed his CBs in individual matchups and for me I think his FBs didn't exploit Barca's high press.
In essence, he knows what to do tactically but his players are going to be let downs until he adjusts or trains them for such situations.

His tactics were very very good
It allowed Bayern to break free of the press of barca on countless occasions…. The issue for this massive score line falls on the players…. Wingers failing to take on their men, fullbacks failing to exploit much space to use or afraid to do so because they are wary of the threat behind them, centre backs being slow to adjust themselves well and neur being bad in stopping shots…. All in all, the results show a massive gap in score line but the performances were balanced and even…. Barca just had better players in ball carrying, ball distribution and making runs in behind the defense

Yeah I thought Barca’s HIGH LINE 4 LYF MATE defence in the first half was too suicidal. I think Barca were lucky that Bayern couldn’t convert a number of good positions or opportunities that they were creating with the space in behind. Most of the first half looked like Bayern having most of the ball and creating the most chances despite conceding very early. But Barca really capitalised on a few chances that fell their way. In the end it was a good CL match with two high quality teams showing their prowess. Always good to see the class on the ball. This is the difference of the CL and why we enjoy watching it.

Guerreriro as the other 6 seems like a natural progression as well. Weird decisions

It shows that there are levels to it because outside of player brilliance and technicality, there's gotta be a coach to implement a system that brings out specific traits out of a player. Kompany is the coach who's goin set up one thing over and over, never adjust it when the cracks are starting to show and simply say, "I back my players" well unless you change sumn, your players aren't gonna be able to back you from being sacked. You can't expect to bank everything on luck and player brilliance and hope to get lucky - not everyone has that Ancheloti luck

    • @LukeSciberraschannel

I disagree, because of that we could not retain possession most times he cleared it, inviting Bayern to continue their press. Ter Stegen's good passes can help us get the ball immediately into midfield or against teams with a high line, create immediate chances with through balls over. We've seen this lots of times with Ter Stegen getting an assist. Occassionally you get miscommunication errors like with Eric Garcia this season of course but just like playing a high line, it's high risk and high reward.

This Bayern is predictable, they play to feel "worthy" because they played aesthetically "pretty" football, and they got stuck in that boring possession game that affects Upamecano and Minjae, they are not versatile, they do not know how to give false hope to the rival to counterattack and they believe that they will win every game 8-2. Iam okay with Kompany's tactics, he is still learning and lets be honest, he is very very inexperienced. With time, i hope he will become a great, tactical mastermind. The issue in this game was the Bayern wingers(Mainly Gnabry), the GK(Neuer), the RB(Guerreiro forced to play there because of both Boey and Stanisic injured), the CBs mainly Kim Min Jae(He lost his Napoli form somewhere in his way to Munich) the Midfield, Kimmich and Palhina. I just dont understand why Palhinha was not played as a 6... He was constantly moving forward and acting like a CAM... No, Kompany... Palhinha is a freakin CDM... Kimmich is more like a CAM but not really he is a playmaker CDM... Like a box-to-box... And maan Gnabry is washed. He is finito... Why Bayern not playing Tel instead, one of the better talents they got and he is just warming the bench... Like come on Kompany. 4 games, 4 very very bad Gnabry forms... Time to think about benching Gnabry and playing Tel. Perfect time to give him minutes now, because the next 3 Bayern games are against weaker sides. Absolutely perfect time to integrate Tel into the team, and please, its time to forget Neuer... Every shot on target is a goal, it feels like Bayern are playing without a goalkeeper xD Nahh, PERFECT time once again, to integrate Peretz into the team... Bundesliga game against Bochum, cupgame against Mainz and Bundesliga game against Union Berlin. The best time EVER for Kompany to start to integrate players. Tel, Peretz, Ito(He is very close to getting 100% fit), iam pretty sure Ito is better than Kim Min Jae at this point. Ito early season form was good against FC Duren. But he broke his leg unfortunately. Anyways, i was watching that game and Ito was class. Straight up better than Kim or Upa. Its time for Kompany to think about changing the things up, pressure mounting, Bayern are actually worse than last season under Tuchel, time to change the things up, or... Yeah he is not going to survive till January, and the coach problems will begin again... Its a SHAME. Bayern did not had a long lasting coach since i dont even remember... This club man, with this board is a joke. Shame on them. This is what we saw is not FC Bayern level... Felt like iam watching a Championship team. It literally felt like that.

On the last days of deadline decision was already made to bring back Hansi whatever it takes The whole board was ready to finalise the deal They almost did it when out of nowhere one of them 😭 called Max Eberl 🤡🤡🤡🤡 somehow singlehandedly Convinced all staff to sign "championship level" fraud who recently got relegated from Premier League 😂that moment our club became main meme 🤡in media football world and every football fan including Bayern supporters knew that they (politely speaking) were not going to succeed Any Bayern fan knows Flick very well and qualities, attitudes, aspects he requires (Personally) I can give precise 80% warranty Bayern would have win sextuple this season with him seeing how he's performing with Barcelona 😏😒

Kompany is out of his depth, you don't bring an average inexperienced manager to Bayern to learn, he can learn with small clubs like Burnley

@@ПростойЧеловек-р8м Iam 100% agreeing with you, but Kompany is a work in progress. This challange what he is doing at Bayern will make him a WORLD CLASS COACH and a decent CV even if he fails and gets sacked. Eberl will get sacked too, because if you read the reports, Eberl said that if Kompany does not meet the expectations, he will leave the club with him.
