I watch a lot of your videos, I have a 2015 gt with the stage 2 whipple with the whipple tomahawk v1 tune, DW400 pump, 72lb sticks, 132mm TB, bigger heat exchanger, corsa cat back exhaust etc. I was wondering what you would think my rwhp would be on this set up? Thanks in advance!
I have a 700rwhp 2017 Mustang GT with a Gen5 stg.2 whipple, and it was scary fast to me at first but I am used to it now. I have 305/35/20 Nitto 555R2 DR's on it and they really hook well which gives confidence. I get it on quite a bit, hitting redline on the street. So I have to disagree about never using that much power on the street as I do it all the time. You just of course have to use your head and now when and where to use the power.
@@kevinbreese5739 u picked a good tire my guy. I’m well over 700whp and as long as I hook in 2nd gear I’ll keep stacking the power. I am on 305 45 17s.
@@Hardwaretuned "Fast" is totally relative. I'm 50 years old and I remember when a 1987 225hp Mustang GT seemed crazy fast. My current 800hp Mustang GT Premium...I consider it "very fast" but that's relative to a street car I drive to work every day with 100% stock non-pp suspension & all the creature comforts like heated and cooled seats. On the street, I am wayyyy faster than 99.9% of the cars around me, 99.9% of the time. Now if I was to roll into an episode of "Street Outlaws" well then I'd be considered slow. Again, it's all relative, but generally speaking, a 700whp daily driven street car with all the creature comforts is very fast.
Here is a play list to a lot of whipple videos. Many variables, but the numbers are all over the place depending on trans, weather, RPM, fuel quality (which is huge on a whipple HP numbers), etc... th-cam.com/play/PLyyePPaOSI80aSxA08LgZVKYwNw4MfWAA.html
Gotta love the unreal power these coyotes can deliver with relatively minor upgrades. I mean these kits basically bolt on. Crazy and awesome!
Couldn't agree more!
Whipple Superchargers are bad ass! Paired with a coyote...watch out! I know my street would be covered with rubber! Lol.
Exactly lol
Very nice, what a awesome build.
Thank you kindly
Love the power but already wanna turn it up another 100whp or so,that's my ride in the video
Go for it! E85, boost, and a return style fuel system.
Thumbs up! No other mods other than the Gen 5 stg. 2 Whipple?
Also had catless 1 7/8 longtube with 3in exhaust and off road h pipe

Watch this playlist. 36 videos or more. Many 15-17, all Whipple. th-cam.com/play/PLyyePPaOSI80aSxA08LgZVKYwNw4MfWAA.html
@@BrenspeedEngineering sounds good! So roughly just north of 700whp?
@@BrenspeedEngineering one more question, could I drop to a 3.7 pulley with the whipple tune? Or would I need to have it retuned?
I think 700 RWHP is more than enough for the street! You’ll never use that much power on the street anyway!
Correct it is a great number to be at but yes it gets a little sketch without good tires.

Robert I may have to disagree as in todays day 700 is like the normal. I’m making quite a bit more than that and it’s just not rly that fast.

Nice! Can't wait til I see my car on the dyno! What is that little blue convertible? It looks pretty cool!
Factory 5 Cobra Kit car coyote engine.
I do have a question, how much boost is it making? you always show a Dyno with numbers but you never talk about how much boost the cars make.
Look up the pulley size they mentioned and that will tell u how much boost.
a 15-17 Stage 2 kit is around 11 psi.
@@BrenspeedEngineering thank you.
I have the same exact set up and mine did 644 on the dyno jet l, why mine didn’t make 700+ 2020 gt

How can a stock transmission handle that power? Also, does the car come stock with forged internals? I would think that would also be a necessity, no?
My stock 6r80 blew on my 2016 whipple 5.0
