A Mustang in blue like that one with the Whipple with a 6 speed manual, with a Stage 2 Whipple 3.0 kit pullied down, headers no cats full exhaust, full fuel system for E85 dialed in and tuned. Suspension and drag pack would be a blast.
Jeeze, the odin stomped it for torque. I know 2650's do better down low, but even 93 vs 109, it still shit on the whipple. 559ftlb at 4400 vs 545 at 4900 . Thats quite a surprise. That would make it a hell of a lot more drivable on tracks and hill climbs. Would LOVE to see the curves though, tells a more complete tale.
On ms109 I got the odin at least equaling the peak numbers the Whipple did if not exceeding it and it's going to make a good bit more torque and average power this is why the tvs is better for a stock engine setup especially if it isn't gonna be ran on e in a max effort type build. Not that the odin can't perform well at that too I'm just saying that is the only time the Whipple gonna make more just my .02. They're both great I just favor the tvs on street cars especially stock motor builds.
@@Oliver-ft2fqdid you miss the part of one being pump gas and one being race fuel? The blue one was MS109 and the white one was pump gas not even E85 lol
I got a 2019 Mustang 5.0 with a Whipple E-85 tune pushing 989 HP to the Rear. Things wicked but one issue I have with the whipple is heat building up, even got the whipple cooler as well to help dissipate the heat.
There are other tuners also more than capable. I’ve used Daryle from wengerd performance for a long time and have had my cars run right beside lund tuned cars.
How does each car feel i hear the vmp hits harder down low and feels like monster and the whipple revs out slower but able to make more power at the end and great at 1,000+ hard to find info on both
If we’ll taken care of and maintained it may be possible. But I don’t see it if it’s turned up and it’s being raced also. But just a mild supercharged build well taken care of could possibly do it. Especially if it’s hwy miles. But I’d be interested to see how long one would last at say 650-700rwhp with just regular daily driving on it.
If it's a stock motor build especially if it's gonna be on pump gas odin ftw. It's gonna feel alot better and likely be faster at those power levels with equal setups.
No we did the tuning for 93 off the dyno that put the car on the dyno with the ms109. The dyno charges by the hour owner decided to run it on ms109 on the dyno to dial it in.
Kinda depends on the year. I know prochargers really shine on 18s and up. Also the s197. For the 15-17 I feel you're better off going with traditional supercharger or turbos.
@La Union Racing terrible advice. A 3.8 Whipple on a coyote at 700 or so wheel is going to feel extremely lazy. If you're not wanting over 1000 wheel don't waste your time with a 3.8. After all these years people still think bigger is better and it isn't. You gotta take power level goals and stock or built engine into account. Imo the odin is an easy choice on any stock motor build. They hit way better and have way better torque and can stand toe to toe with a Whipple 3.0 on peak power up until you start making 1000 for the 3.0 to get an edge over the odin on peak. The odin owns everywhere else. 2650 ftw
so in your opinion and all the installs what do you prefer. I am tossed between either the Whipple supercharger or the VMP. I know Whipple is on the GT500 but VMP Is so dedicated to ford and Justin knows them and has them personally and knows his superchargers. Especially with the change in design getting more power for these new Gen 3 coyotes coming from when he started with the 1st and 2nd gen's.
The odin is better for a street car imo. Unless you're trying to make over 1000 rwhp and really sending it max effort the Whipple won't make any more power under that level over the odin and below peak in the rest of the graph where you're gonna be on the street the tvs hits alot hard on the punch and makes alot better torque. They can make a ton of power too and easily go over 1000 on max effort builds imo I was just stating that you'd have to have a max effort setup to see any more power from the Whipple despite the size difference all things equal. The 2650 is extremely efficient.
Great job Ken as always, both Mustangs sounding sweet, impressive H.P. numbers, loving the new shop
buddy.
Thank you sir!

Maybe some drop in forged rods and pistons and everything to make 1k-1100whp with a 6 speed would have to be loads of fun.
Great job HPR, you guys are on fire 🔥. Ken and Chris awesome mechanical skills.

@HPR did the Odon have an ice tank? What was the extra cooling tank in the engine bay? Thank you! Great video!
Good numbers for 93 for sure! Well done guys!

Whipple or Odin You can't go wrong !! great video bro ..
I agree. Thanks bro
But the whipple made more power in similar conditions.

Two sweet cars came out Awesome 🤙 🇺🇸

These are beats! Love the shenanigans
VMP Eaton rotor pack is one of the best designs ever but everybody has their own opinion
Eaton makes the rotors. Vmp makes the housing for the rotor pack. Twin screw design is still better and more efficient than a roots design.
Got Whipple!!!!
Yes sir!
Awesome
Ken great job on these cars. What is the max rpm on the bossted coyote 5.0 while still maintaining the stock bottome end.
Good number .
Hey just wondering what you torque down the Odin lids too ? Thanks

Why the oil pump housing? I got OPG's and sprocket done without the housing?
I put down 690 with my Odin on 12 psi 93 octane stock headers
On a gen 1 coyote
Whats the Odin have? A TVS2650?
That’s about right.
You recommend replacing the oil pump housings on all cars now ?
Absolutely. for an extra 70-90 bucks its worth it!
Yes I do. After what boundary found out then I tested and verified it’s safer to spend a little extra to make sure all is good.

about how long does the odin install take with decent mechanic ability?
Hey I’m from Louisiana and wanted to know can you tune a vmp supercharged 19 manual mustang gt on Sunoco 260 gt fuel?
