    "You can build like this, i dont know what im doing!"
    Yeah, thats about right. When playing minecraft, i had no idea what i was doing and everyone started praising my builds and the planning they must take. I just do stuff.
    I carried it over into Inkarnate where, again, i just do stuff, and im actually VERY proud of how some of the maps look.
    I shall do the same with this. I have no idea what im doing, im just gonna do it till it looks good to me.

    I like how you moved tiles downward as well when making the terrain. It gives it a much more organic look then just building in one direction. This was a super quick and epic build. Well done man!!!

    Really appreciate your approach to teaching the basics of world building in the system. Do you still work with Talespire, or have you moved on to other systems? These videos have been key to getting started in the Talespire system. Any chance you are planning a follow-up vid to go through some new tricks you've learned?

    I recently picked up Talespire to assist me in my future nerd needs. I'm moving across the country and this is what my group and I will be using to continue our normal in person campaign.
    Just wanted to pop in and say that your content is really good, really well edited for the video consumer to follow with, and is a Godsend for a DM that is a newbie with this software. You earned my sub and I hope to see more great Talespire content and ideas, even if it's just builds, not necessarily tutorials, so that we can also see and get ideas for our own worlds, and other ideas to use assets for. Thanks for all your hard work with these!

    This was legit the question I had in my mind!
    TH-cam's Algorithm really worked in your favor!
    This must be one of the best videos foe Talespire Elevation understanding! 😁😍
    Good job, mate! As it gets more popular, you'll get more views! I loved it

    Your videos convinced me to buy Talespire, wasn't sure as many people say it has limited options right now, but watching you its easy to see it just takes a little creativity to mix things up and repurpose props in many fun ways. I've always wanted to get into mini building but can't bring myself to purchase the supplies so this can be a great intro to seeing if I really want to go that route at all.

      Yeah man, your advice on elevation has been probably the most important thing I learned for using Talespire. I could already make areas look nice with props and everything, but they never felt quite right
      Elevation was the key, and now I find everything is much, much more enjoyable to look at, and far more believable

    Thanks for the video dude! I love your tricks and tips!
    Just today I was trying to do a mountain face and a mining cave entrance and I was struggling to deal with the repeated patterns that had formed because I was using a smaller rock, I'm going to try and use the one you used in this video! Thanks!

    My players want to do a castle stealth takeover. So the plan is to make a mountain castle, the is progressively going higher and higher. The elevation difference between the lowest part of the main gate and the final tower botyom should be around 30-50 blocks. A monumental task, but I think it will be worth it, since they want to make it their home base.

    Another awesome video. You are doing the Lord's work, my son :)
    Can you do one sometime creating a dense urban environment? Like a small section of a street with a few houses?

    • @isaacroussel4388
      @isaacroussel4388 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Roofs are really hard to make, but maybe you've got some tips.

    • @NordicForge
      @NordicForge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for comments! We're certainly working up towards buildings and urban settings, just nailing down these fundamentals along the way. Thank you for the idea about a street section slab, maybe even something modular. Stick around and I'm sure we'll all get there together! :)

  • @isaacroussel4388
    @isaacroussel4388 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Also, seems like you handle shifting vertical levels very efficiently. What's your trick? Thanks.

    • @NordicForge
      @NordicForge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha, no "secret" really - I simply try my best to create random shifts and avoid any patterning or repetition that appear as I move along. Keep adjusting until you have some pleasing shapes, that also look natural. Sometimes it can take a few tries. :)
