  • Singapore Hawker Center Tour: A Food Lover's Guide to Changi Village Hawker Centre
    Changi Village Hawker Centre is a beloved food haven located in the eastern part of Singapore. The hawker centre has a rich history that dates back to the 1970s, when it first opened to serve the local community.
    In the early days, the hawker centre was a simple open-air market, with a handful of food stalls serving local dishes like nasi lemak and mee goreng. Over the years, the hawker centre grew in popularity and size, and today it is one of the most popular food destinations in Singapore.
    Despite its modern-day popularity, Changi Village Hawker Centre has managed to retain its nostalgic and laid-back charm. The hawker centre is situated in a peaceful and scenic location, with views of the sea and the nearby Changi Beach Park.
    The hawker centre is home to over 30 food stalls, each offering its own unique specialties. Some of the most famous food stalls include International Nasi Lemak, Mizzy Corner Nasi Lemak, and Traditional Haig Road Putu Piring. Diners can also enjoy a variety of other local dishes like satay, chicken rice, rojak, and more.
    Changi Village Hawker Centre is not just a place to enjoy delicious food, but also a place to soak up the local culture and community. The hawker centre is a popular gathering spot for residents, who come together to enjoy good food and company. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of Singapore's hawker culture, which is an integral part of the city's identity and heritage.

    Which dish to eat at this centre and which shop/hotel is best here

      This is very far from City Centre. Only locals go there. Unless you have joined heritage tour. Famous for Nasi Lemark.

    After so many months of renovation, it is still the same. Not much difference. Thank god my family and I favourite Changi Village carrot cake is still there. Been eating there for many years.

      You're lucky that your favourite food spot is still there after the renovation! Even though the changes may not be too drastic, it's still nice to see improvements being made in the area. Have you tried any other food places in Changi Village?

    Are all the food video showing are organic dishes?
    Are they encourage to eat organic dishes ?
    As organic dishes are tasteless and no much sweetness.
    Should use approved industrial food chemical to enhance the flavor of organic dishes.
    Can make more things in the end.

    • @BDWTravelTV
      @BDWTravelTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching our video and for your questions. While some of the dishes in our video may be organic, not all of them are. Our focus is on showcasing the diversity of Singapore's food culture, including its traditional and modern dishes. As for your comment about organic dishes, it's important to note that organic food is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or other chemicals. While some people may prefer the taste of conventionally-grown foods, organic foods can be just as flavorful and sweet. In fact, many organic farmers use natural methods to enhance the flavor of their produce, such as crop rotation, composting, and other sustainable practices. We encourage people to make their own informed choices about what they eat, and we hope to inspire people to try new foods and flavors. Thanks for your comment and we appreciate your feedback.

    This is a legendary location. But in Singapore anything can happen in the name of development and to accommodate the explosion of population not by reproduction system.
