We were amazed by the spaciousness of the latest hawker centre and the wide variety of menus, even including desserts. It seems there are price options as well, which will please both Singaporeans and tourists. Your video camera captured everything so politely, making us feel the atmosphere and want to visit!☝️😊✨ We think the scene where you communicate with the shop cook is very natural and lovely!💫 Yosh and Iku
@@Factory-qq2wk The spanking new and clean environment comes with a cost. Stall holders have to pay hefty fees for tray collection, washing, etc. Therefore the food prices here is higher than in coffee shops but lower than in food courts. Somewhere in between. With 39 stalls, there’s a wide variety of food choices as well as prices as you observed. This hawker centre was only 4 days old and I observed some stall holders having friendly banter with customers. The 2 reactions with lady customers captured by video camera were spontaneous and unrehearsed. The stall cook was very friendly. I will visit his stall to eat and show him this video 😀

Well, before anything, i scanned through the COMMENTS box and i fully agree with all them. I must SALUTE in ur METICULOUS presentations of all the stalls featured. Funnily, out of so many stalls, only ONE stall really makes my HEART beats very fast. It's the, dont know what, Munchi Pancakes. My knees went SOFT seeing my all time favorite. Needless to say, i know i'd spoilt for choices when i visit this new hawker centre. Many many thanks for this wonderful beautiful in depth coverage. Good day n good health, Bro

M+ Fried Rice Paradise, Kampong Kakak Noodles (by Encik Tan) and the Indian stalls are halal. Pura Vida Cocina (Mexican food), Style Palate (French food) and Liu Ma Bibimbab (Korean) doesn't sell pork but might not be halal. None of the stalls, including the Malay and Indian stalls, display the hala logo, though they have the Jawi inscription. The Indian muslim food looks great. I will go there again to try their food. Salim, thanks for your comment and support
I wanted to try the duck confit at Style Palate, but the few times I went there for lunch they were not open, until I went for dinner when they were still closed at about 5 PM. I was forced to buy dinner somewhere else when I saw that they finally opened at 5:30 PM. I don't know if they can stay in business long if they open only for dinner, and duck confit probably the most expensive item in the entire food centre. I give up. Won;t try again. According to their website, they're supposed to be open at 10:30 AM/
@@agneschoy8315 I am aware and understand the need to have this law. However some laws are difficult to be enforced. This is one such law. I believe it will be a matter of time before this law will be amended to ‘encouraged’ to wear mask. Just my opinion and not meant to argue.
Food prices have actually doubled since pre-covid 2019. Though these are still affordable when compared to western standard of living. I believe the high costs are due to the high rentals charged by the landlords which trickle down to the consumers. Singapore is in a rentier economy. Landlords can charge whatever rent they like without the need to justify.

Other hawker centers should follow this especially Albert food centre, DARK , SLIPPERY FLOOR, AND OILY TABLES
I hope so too.
Is this a food court or hawker centre ?

This is a Hawker Centre. Prices here are cheaper than food courts.

...now no more compulsory to wearing of hairnet, mask and disposable gloves for food handler???

If you are afraid of virus etc, stay home and cook your own food. Don't need to chope for table as well.
