    Happy Diwali!
Students of Sanskruti School of Dance prepared a dance routine with tea lights either in their online classes or their face to face classes to celebrate Diwali, the Indian festival of lights. Around 50 dancers were filmed in batches at Storey's Field Centre and some of them had to send their Diwali wishes from their home due to Covid-19.
A dance film to celebrate Diwali, which symbolises light overtaking darkness, victory of knowledge over ignorance and good over evil. In the current Covid-19 situation, when social gatherings are best avoided, this was one way to celebrate Diwali for all of us involved in making this film.
    Commissioned by Cambridge City Council.
