Correct me if I’m wrong but when scrambling so that white is the cross colour, don’t you hold white where their cross colour was? So with Patrick Ponce’s solve, you would hold white at front blue top.
1-Hand is DefFEntLY not my satisfaction of solving 3x3s, who else agrees 1-hand is pretty much hard to master, all of my solves were terrible accept 3rd, 54.36. Keep up the awesome content
You can’t just hold their cross color on top because then the cross could be on any of the 4 colors on it the front and sides. For example, you would have to hold white on the front of their cross was green etc
hey tingman. to actually get the cross solution to be white you have to put the white face in the position of where the other colour face was when holding it with white top and green front, by using only x and z rotations if that makes any sense. do not do any y rotations otherwise you won't get the same scramble with white cross

Dad made a mistake. If you want to simulate the cross on a different color you should put the white on the side that the CN did the cross. So if the CN did a green cross, hold white as F (where normally green would be) your white pieces will be in the same place as the CN's green pieces.

5:05 That's not how you make the cross color switch, you have to put the white side where it was originally green. So in this case, put white on the front. In the case how you scrambled it, Patrick would have done orange cross, because that was in the green side's place.

You have to put the white side on the other colour's place instead of putting other colour on white's place. Like on Patrick's you have to put white where green is so that the scramble on green become scramble on white. Ola got it right at the end.
For years, I've sucked at OH, definitely because of my insane lack of practice. Now that I've seen how these scrambles go, I've just realized I should just stick to 3x3 Blindfolded 😂😂😂 In seriousness though, maybe I might have to practice OH more in the future, as I still have a lot of events to prioritize atm, but as always, this is just ♥️

on the Asia Konvittayaotin WR3 scramble with yellow cross i got 8.2 seconds with PLL skip. and i avrg 19 seconds! it's a really good scramble!
To force cross on some other colour u have to hold ur cross colour where the original one was for eg patrick ponce scramble hold white on front

I use One Hand for this.
You have to put the white side on the other colour's place instead of putting other colour on white's place. Like on Patrick's you have to put white where green is so that the scramble on green become scramble on white. Ola got it right at the end.
