I removed a pair of spindles on a 78 f150 with the chisel method many years ago... took a stupid amount of time. When I did my same year Bronco recently I had the proper slide hammer attachment... had both sides done in minutes. Well worth the money. Entertaining to watch someone else struggle nonetheless. Thanks for the video, hopefully it save someone else the time and frustration.
@@YoshimoshiGarage there's a few old codgers left where I'm at, but they're not going to be around much longer. In fact I have one putting in an old school Power Lock in my Dana 60, he even had the old school steel clutch plates for it! That thing should last forever.....I hope lol.
I'm glad my Jeeps don't have that spindle to deal with. Don't forget about the little needle bearing on the inside of the spindle. I bet it's crunchy, too.
You make the best most informative videos! Thank you! Excellent work 👏
Your videos help me out so much with my old ‘78

Watching him struggle is one of my favorite parts.
A slide hammer was my first thought. I'm gonna buy me one, one of these days...
Love these videos, gotta learn how to rebuild my Dana 44 and 60 because axle shop guys are a dying breed!
Yeah, I don't know who I'd go to locally if I needed something like this done.
