Just got a 2016 390 Duke with 900 miles on it and love it no heating problems in the UK not even heard the fan yet I prefer the old model myself and that's not because I just bought one.
I owned the old one and I now bought the new one, trust me new model is x2 better then the old one.
I'm really fond of the old duke with raw power😍😍
I like my KTM Duke 390 2016 sound more compared to this 2017/2018 duke.

Very Good detail comparison.....new upgrade model is better than the old one, but one bad thing is the "console". old "console" looks was better, than the new one.

Hi Rahulda, I follow urs and sm of other bikers review thoroughly like Buluda, Vikas Rachamala & few others. Myself too from Kolkata, barasat. So urs is more valuable. M constantly looking for budget (abt round3L) but all rounder bike, D400 almost clicked still its bajaj.. then TVS310RR, gave good hope but in Vain, as saw urs and many others Review, and got that CBR250R is still better. & moreover BMW 310 Advntr version is inbound, so much preferable than TVS310RR.
So currently too much confused with 2018DUKE 390, 2018 Golden Rim black Dominar(grt look), TVS 200 4V ABS. Myself use Hornet daily avg. 50-70km Travel office. 80% Satisfied as the 20% left for just about Power and technology absent as compared to the current market else love this little Bull.
Myself a cool and long tourer rider than a fast rider; except at rare times. Believe in Lookwise, big body like RE TB500 (1st of 2 reasons for thinking twice on Duke390, other is heating) but we all know RE as a disguise of Problems Trap. Pls a little help with selection. Or may even suggest out of those 3 if u think.
Duke 390, Doesn't have heating problem anymore. If you are keeping the hornet, then it makes a lot of sense to have that Duke 390 as a second bike that can do it all.

Had back pain and coccyx pain issue with 2015 model KTM Duke 200 (My older ride).
So what about this?
Several taller riders in Europe ride the Duke 390 but back pain issue is not just due to a person's height and it's a medical condition so I can't say if it will be comfortable for you.

I have seen your review regarding CBR 250 R 2018, and I like it.
I was initially prepared for that, now here I am with new and varying opinions.
Can't decide which to choose honestly.
My options are CBR 250 R, Duke 390 2018, Apache RR 310.
Shersha Basheer cbr250 nor the apache are comfortable for taller riders.
i have test ridden both and the duke 390 too.
the duke is manageable though not the most comfortable

I can buy duke 250 in Feb 18 on my bday...but still I waited for 390 because it worth every single penny... no doubt duke 250 is good... but what you are getting in 390 after spending approx 68k-70k more is remarkable..! frankly speaking my budget was only 1.5 lakhs last year, then i kept it on increasing with time 😅😅 kuch jugaad, kuch requests, little-little savings from my salary worked for me..! it costs me exactly 273863 Rs On Road In Noida (all cash payment).! 😊

No man, just local dealers refusing to share bikes for honest reviews.
Ride With Rahul have had the same issue in Mumbai and had to shut down my channel royal Enfield was one good dealership though who let me easily review their bikes without any issues.
