Ideally your immediate family memeber has to sponsor. But i have seen some rare cases where family friends sponsor as well and they do get the visa and all. so i don't think that would be a major issue for you!

So is this possible to do a specialization in abroad?

Nope not at all. Your travel history doesn't effect your visa chances. Many people got visa's who had previously visited sensitive countries.
