- This is my display for my collection of consoles, controllers and some accessories for the Nintendo Gamecube and Wii. I have just over half of all the released Gamecube consoles and three quarters of the GC controllers whereas I am only really missing one controller for the Wii - the Yoshi remote. Have any suggestions for me to make the display look even better? What is your favourite colour? Comment below!

Hey Lithium are you considering purchasing the Panasonic Q eventually? It's one of the most interesting Gamecube variants in my opinion.

The blue, red and black ones are my favorite in the normal Wiimote collection
The nostalgia is strong with this one. My purple Gamecube was the first console I really extensively used. I had a Sega Genesis and a PlayStation 1 for longer, but I just didn't use my Genesis much and I didn't have a memory card for my PlayStation. I think that the game I played the most on my Gamecube was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, either that or Pikmin 2.
Poor thing got its lid melted shut because I put a hot lamp on top when I was young. My dad had to pry it open with a knife and that ruined the lock, so I had to put something on top to keep it shut.
I've got the gold Legend of Zelda Wii remote! I got it in the Skyward Sword bundle along with the CD!
The Spice Orange is my favorite! I remember when I was about 10 or 9, I wanted a orange gamecube, but got the black one instead xD! I am so happy to see it exists, but sad it only exists in Japan. Ah well, just happy to have one still, awesome collection dude! I love seeing your collections and all the unique consoles you get!

this video reminded me that I really want a portable gamecube/gamecube emulator so I can play my favorite games on the go. It would just be awesome.

One you didn't mention that you are missing is the Monster Hunter G Classic Controller. I just picked it up with the game (new, sealed) from Amazon for $30 shipped
You should get the Panasonic GameCube, it's pretty rare

I've always wanted the Spice Orange Gamecube, but its so hard to get hold of, even harder boxed.
The Gamecube keyboard doesn't only work for Phantasy Star Online, I heard that someone used it to play Super Smash Bros. Melee/Brawl and it functions like a regular Gamecube Controller ;)

Dat emerald blue wired GameCube controller doe I love that color...I'm so sad I sold my GameCube collection had 423 games three systems,black,silver,and indigo along with silver and freu wave bird,and a black Gameboy player along with some other neat stuff like a VGA gradeded viewtidul Joe and a bunch of boxed stuff...ya I got a few grand for selling the collection but still regret it huge,I just really needed the money at the time

Nintendo Collecting do you know of a way to hook a gamecube controller up to the PC? That keyboard controller looks amazing for such a purpose!
I know there are adapters on amazon, but when the adapter for wii u comes out you can try plugging it in
There is also this Panasonic Q GameBoy player! Its pretty darn rare and hard to get.
Speaking of GameCube, you should get yourself an Panasonic Q, its the most prettiest GameCube in Existence!

The emerald one is pretty cool, as is the club nintendo wavebird. Also, the keyboard one is pronounced "as ski".

nice display! i don't collect console variants but i do like to see them. i have a question. if you discovered that one of your consoles stopped working what would you do? would you get it repaired, buy a new one or just leave it be?
Also, have you thought about getting an LED strip like SeeJayAre has for his vinyl collection. They look really cool and I think he said he got it for about $20

you need a pearl white gamecube console, i bought a pearl white for £65 all complete in the box, it was a great deal

just got the Tales of Symphonia Gamecube with controller myself, PAL version, loose, don't really want to collect boxed systems, i bit to expensive for me, and it doesnt have the Game Boy Player, i believe that only came with the Japanese release for that consolle, have a Black and Indigo boxed Japanese systems that i got cheap, and have preordered one of the upcomming Gamecube controllers, i believe it was the Yoshi one if i remember correct, will get the others eventually, Gamecube is my main focus, but are currently looking for the games for the most part, half way with the PAL set, and just over 20 Japanese games, and only 4 American games

I hope you have a great insurance policy just in case. I never thought I'd see a fire but my house burnt down and I lost everything I had Atari to dreamcast and everything in between. Plus my toys I was collecting. Original TMNT toys n star wars toys. Ugh it's a small fortune today. So make sure you protect everything bud it's a amazing collection

I have the ASCII one ^^ I love this thing But For Smash Bros for the Wii its Working but for Like Mario Party 4 and Mario Kart for the Gamecube it is working but if they is like a Player Select screen for Com and Player they dont reconice this controller :/

Well, there are 3 new Gamecube controllers coming out for Smash Bros, Or maybe it was 4. I think Mario, Peach, Luigi and Yoshi themed ones. Although they plug into the Wii remote, not a Gamecube. Weird.
They are third party accessories. The Nintendo one will work on the GameCube

I have preordere the Yoshi themed one, at after what i have heard there will be an addon that let you use Gamecube controllers on the WiiU, and that those new controllers will have the Gamecube plug

Confusing right? The GC converter is for those who already have lots of GC controllers I guess, the new controllers are for those who already have Wii Remotes but no GC controllers. You need one of them to use the controllers anyway.
TalesOfGamerz In the description where i ordered the Yoshi controller it says: "You will need a Gamecube controller adapter in order to connect the controller to a Wii U Console"

Good god. Who are you ?????? 🙌🏻 I just want to find the Orange spice one pokémon DX Residents evil four GameCubes to added to my collection. I’m at 71 games and three gameCubes black indigo and Silver and four controller for each and the wave bird also. I do have the 7/10 rarest games for the Gamecube games. That sega basketball game is going to be crazy had to get .

Silver isn't that difficult - black is definitely the most common tho
Nintendo Collecting I remember I got a black one because they didn't have any purple ones. funny thing was the same thing happened to my friend but with the reverse colours.

Nintendo Collecting the horizontal ones are separate consoles, I see your blue one is one of them, but you're missing the others. they have the labels on the front all on a 90 degree angle compared to the original Wii and they don't have gamecube ports. most noticeable is the box they come in as it displays the console laying down and from a front view.
dedpxl Ah I see what you mean. Very slight changes. Might get them eventually but I was really after the different colors

I have two Gamecube consoles(i should get one more probably) and 3 Wii and 3 WiiU. I have them just so i can play my games and have back-ups in case anyone breaks. But just about that much, i don't have the obsession to have every color and variation etc and am glad for that because that is too much money for hardware i will never use.
I rather waste that money buying actual games.
Well maybe if i had too much money to waste maybe i could be like this but am not filthy rich so i rather not waste my money like that.

Good collection, but I have one question... Why? I mean, each wii is 40-200 dollars and that adds up to a lot of money. Ganecubes are 30-180 dollars... You must be a wealthy guy

He has a regular HD one, but the older ones are better for playing old games, plus when you play older game consoles on HD TV's it can produce lag, not a lot but it's there.
yeah older games are designed for those types of TVs.
