I love collecting nintendo 64 games but finding boxed ones is so hard and expensive!
Nintendo 64 is also my favourite console of all time. My favourite games are:
Super Mario 64
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Perfect Dark
007 GoldenEye
Mario Kart 64
F1 World Grand Prix II
I can't get tired of those games, they are master pieces.
One day I need to add sealed OOT collectors edition, Star Fox 64, and Smash Bros to my collection. Those are my favorite games from the system and I love the box art on them. If anything I need Oot in as good of a condition as I can possibly get it. That game is a piece of history and a super important part of my life. I've had the gold cart since I was 6, but no box unfortunately
I'm so jelly, N64 was the system that got me addicted to gaming and Nintendo games; collecting for the N64 just makes me feel that happiest all over again. Great collection, mine's not even close to as massive as your's hahaha. Keep on collectin'!
I love Kazooie over Tooie simply because I have the fondest memories playing it as a child; that, and Tooie is MASSIVE compared to Kazooie! Both are top-notch games and definitely some of the most fun for 64 :) Love your collection and your videos!
Super collection man.
The Turok games are some of my all time favorites on the N64 but I love all the other classics as everyone else does.
Some great Nintendo 64 games worth getting I recommend are Earthworm Jim 3d, Robot Robot on wheels, Tonic Trouble, Ms Pacman Maze Madness and especially Rayman 2 the Great Escape.
Love this video dude, thanks for doing the N64 games. Snowboard Kids is a must, me and my brother still play it to this day. Looking forward to the next video mate!
You should get mystical ninja starring goemon. It's very fun.
I miss your old gaming room and your old intro! Your channel has come a long way but the older stuff is great
Ocarina is for me the greatest N64 game and greatest game of all time!
I wouldn't worry that much with players choice - it's hard enough finding any N64 games where I live. There are a lot more great titles on the N64 - maybe keeping to only 64 will be tricky.
I just picked up a worms armageddon boxed complete. Was a bit of money but totally worth and and looks good in any collection. You should get it! Great vid lithium
Nice! Have you played it? Do you like it?
I have played it a bit and its pretty fun. Better playing with others.
You're missing, Bomber Man 64, Spiderman, Rayman 2 the Great Escape, Legend of The Mystical Ninja staring Goemon, Gauntlet Legends, Toy Story 2, Star Wars Shadows of The Empire, and I don't have it, but I want to get it, Tarzan.
I love your collection of 64games I'm going to get more games for my 64 collection
Great video Lithium!!!!
Wow, awesome, dude! Paper Mario is my favorite N64 game as well - it's actually my favorite game ever!
Also, if you liked Goemon's Great Adventure (he's pronounced Go-ay-mon by the way), you should really get Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. The gameplay is very different, it's like a mix between Zelda and Mario 64 (and it came out before Ocarina of Time), and it's set in the world of Goemon. Definitely one of the most fun you'll ever have on the console.
Diddy kong racing is the best single player racing experience in my opinion and it had pretty good multiplayer. However, Mario kart 64 had way better multiplayer in my opinion. They really compliment each other and are good for different gaming situations. They are both must haves and I can't really say which is better.
Best console ever the 64 respect from Macedonian in Australia great video
so many cool games definitly adding a 64 to my console collection!
The original Turok or Turok 1 is my my favorite of those. Donkey Kong and Banjo Tooie have to be my favorite 64 games just because I beat them over and over and it's always fun.
I'm surprised that you don't have Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon, considering you have the sequel. That game is amazing and I believe is much better than Goemon's Great Adventure and one of my favorite N64 games. It seems like it is very rare to find a complete in box for that game. Anyway, great video and an awesome N64 game collection. ^^
Banjo-Tooie is my favorite of the two games. It basically took everything great about the first one and then cranked it up to the nth degree. But the first is still great. And I would argue Diddy Kong Racing is better than Mario Kart for it's, in my opinion, a better soundtrack, more imaginative tracks, and the fact that they had an actual story connecting the races. Oh and getting to fly a plane was awesome too.
You need Bangai-Oh and Sin and Punishment.
I have the entire N64 library in cart form, The Ultimate N64 Game Cartridge Shelf pt4 Finale , those are definitely 2 you should have in your collection.
Should have bought that box. Clay fighter is 400 loose now lol
If you know about that Luigi was supposed to be in super mario 64, but they had to choose either flat surfaces or add him. if they had invented the expansion pak at the time they could've added him.
It would have been such a different feel of game with 2 players
but thats what super mario 64 2 would've been like!
World's Not Enough, 1080 Snowboarding, Kirby 64, Mario Kart 64, Conquer's Bad Fur Day, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium, Quest 64, Star Fox 64, Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., Yoshi's Story, Ocarina of Time.
those games my brother, David and I were once involved with. I was mostly involved with Mario Kart, and only 2 Pokemon game. I never played the 2nd Stadium game.
Man , my fav game of all time is Super Mario 64
Also if you only have Scooby Doo because its a black cart, just get Turok 2. It's a decent game.
Mario Kart 64 *-*! Nice collection! Greetings from Mexico!
Oh man, Glover took me back. I remember being a kid playin that damn glove transforming the balls, I loved it.
You should check out chameleon twist for the n64! Love this game from my childhood and I'm curious as to what you would think about it
How I wish I could go back in time and buy all the 64 games and never open them.I remember buying the 64 brand new for about 250$ and it was the greatest thing ever. I can't think of my childhood without implicating ocarina of time.my personal favorite game ever
Mario Kart 64 is personally my favorite Mario Kart up to date. Maybe it's just because it's on my favorite console, who knows? I still play it almost on a daily basis with my friends :P can't wait for Mario kart 8! :D
Mario Kart 8 is definitely a Day 1 buy! Can't Wait
Nintendo Collecting
Did you pre-order Mario Kart 8 at EB Games? Comes with a pretty plain but cool poster.
Steve CM I already preordered it last year after E3 got got it for $20 off so I will miss out on that poster
Bomberman 64: The Second Attack is my personal favourite game. Shame that two Bomberman games and Lego Racers are missing from your collection!
I envy you the Harvest Moon 64, since that didnt get a PAL release, and i love that series
N64 wise, I only have the N64, 3-4 (not sure) controllers, the steering wheel, and games, which I have: Mario Kart 64, LoZ: OoT and MM, Mario Tennis, Star Fox 64, Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario 64, F-Zero, and well, yeah.
You need Space Station Silicon Valley i feel you'll enjoy the overall atmosphere. It's an under-rated 3D Platformer! Check it out!
Absolutely, one of the most underrated games out there. Luckily you did get Jet Force Gemini (it's in the same list of underrated games).
Hi,
Great games. I have also lot's of Nintendo 64 games and also lot's of snes games.
Have a good one.
Andre Eichstedt
Lithium, you are awesome! Please don't stop doing updates. I'm afraid you're going to stop or slow down after the impending marriage!
The Famicom always had different coloured carts. A lot more colours than the N64. Nintendo have always been doing it is seems. Well, for some of the systems. ( Gray sucks. So many of the games turned yellow from heat. Bleh. ) I wish they made the Wii/Wii U cases in more colours. Not just the Mario games. Also it's 'Go-eh-mon'. :)
I'll take Mario kart 64 over Diddy Kong racing any day
Space Station : Silicon Valley is highly recommend.
You got some good games there Lithium. Some that are missing that I would recommend are Rocket Robot On Wheels, Wetrix & Aiden Chronicles. Also I don't know how different Megaman 64 is to Legends as we didn't get that version in the UK but Legends is pretty solid.
You definitely should pick up snowboard kid 1 and 2. I love those games and the second one is really rare, since there isn't a PAL version.
Awesome video! Still wish N64 cartridges had end labels. Make storing them without boxes a huge hassle.
This. I don't know how they went backwards on that one. There are ways to create your own if you want to:
s9.zetaboards.com/Nintendo_64_Forever/topic/7233347/1/
Awesome games :)
Here are some games you should get: duke nukem 3d, mace:the dark age, doom 64,and quake.
Another bomberman game worth playing is Bomberman 64, it's a really fun game to play with friends
Haha! BAD FUR DAY that was a crazy game
I love your N64 collection. Mines are not the best, but I do have:
-GoldenEye 007
-The World is Not Enough 007
-Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
-Mario Kart 64
-Mario Party
-Mario Party 2
-Mario Party 3
-Perfect Dark
-Super Mario 64
-Super Smash Bros.
While others were the ones I had as a kid but not anymore due to lack of replayability and becoming tiresome in the process:
-Glover
-Hey You, Pikachu!
-Pokemon Puzzle League
-Pokemon Snap
-Pokemon Stadium
-StarFox 64
-Toy Story 2
-Yoshi's Story
Zelda 64 games aren't good for me to return. Once I was 100% finished, that's it. There was no point to replay the game and go through the same story over and over. Even worse, I can't skip the dialogue parts at all.
My favorite game on the N64 (and I will say it again): Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
I think Kirby is in my Top 10! You have a lot of experience with some amazing games
You should check out Gauntlet Legends by Midway. It has a regular version and a pretty rare version that comes with a figurine. The game is very fun to play with friends and is in my opinion, the best hack and slash game on the 64.
I love that game. I really want to get it to relive my childhood of playing that at a friend's house.
Nintendo Collecting hell yeah that game was amazing
+Nintendo Collecting Rareware died because they were bought by Microsoft.
Definitely check out Snowboard kids 1 and 2. Chameleon Twist 2 is also a fun one.
I have yet to find a person who genuinely "loves" Quest 64. The music is fine, but that's it.
Here's some great games:
Buck Bumble (well, I like it), Bust a Move (at least one of them) , Excitebike 64, International Superstar Soccer 98 (best soccer game), Mystical Ninja Goemon (1), Rayman 2, Resident Evil 2, Ridge Racer 64, Rocket Robot on Wheels, Spacestation Silicon Valley, Wipeout 64.
The Gex Gecko games aren't generally bad. These ones for N64 are just bad ports, the PS1 versions are vastly superior and actually pretty good!
You should sell rubbish like Sculptor's Cut and Starcraft 64 and get actually good games for that system!
Also get Bangai-O and Sin and Punishment, even if they're just NTSC-J.
+Cameron Derek
It is as rare as it is garbage gameplay-wise. That's why I said sell it, think of all the good games you can buy from that.
Aww, one REALLY great game that's missing is Bomberman 64: The second attack. Having a copy should make your collecting side happy, because It's actually a really rare game with loose carts selling for 75+ dollars on Ebay, but, even though I'm not too big on the Bomberman franchise, it's actually pretty awesome! The gameplay is a mash between Bomberman jetters and the original Bomberman for the NES, and is a very unique cult classic. One important warning from my own personal experience is do NOT look up any kind of guide or Wikipedia article for the game, because the game has a very interesting plot, but sadly the so-called "Spoiler-free" guides that I read ruined the ending for me, which was such a shame because the game has so many awesome plot twists and a great story. But definitely worth checking out
When N64 Reproductions come out, you HAVE to get a repro of Super Mario: Star Road. It's absolutely BRILLIANT!!!
I watched the entire Let's Play and it does look unreal good for a fan make
Pilotwings is fun to screw around in (drive like a car with a plane). Beetle adv racing is really fun, do you live in europe? The ntsc version is starring a different car.
You should really get box protectors for your games to keep them in same condition specially NFR games, I have Cartridge box protectors for them.
I am looking to get the box protectors sometime this year :) Thanks for the suggestion though
You Should Pick Up Spiderman And Starwars Shadows Of The Empire For Nintendo 64
Hey what's up I like your video they're pretty good my favorite Nintendo 64 game was WWF 2000 WCW vs NWO WCW vs NWO Revenge double O7 Mario World Mario Kart and hand👍
Ocarina of time and majora's mask are the best games ever. Hope zelda wii u will either be more like these games, or expand on the story or connection shared by these two games. That would be a dream come true, but probably won't happen.
All I know is the Zelda Wii U game is supposed to allow the player to have more choice in terms of where to go when like A Link Between Worlds. If it has the same feel of OOT or MM I would love it too
Well lets just hope Zelda U gets announced at E3 2014! Will you be doing some sort of video about E3? Just wondering if your Wii U is awesome series will continue.
goronhero Most definitely! With each big release on the Wii U I will do a video. I think I might have missed a few games, so thanks for the reminder! The next big one is Mario Kart 8
Anyone notice how his tables start sticker is coming up? Man that was bothering me the whole video lol..I have OCD.
I was about to comment with the same thing! Every time he moves a box away, I'm like "the table's peeling!".
I actually don't own anything n64 yet. I have a few games on Wii virtual console, I've used emulators too for a while (I know I know, I stopped, now only use it for testing, checking if I want a game) and I really wanna do the system and it's library justice, but it's just so hard to make it a priority. There's other stuff out there that I want much much more.
Currently focusing mainly on Super Famicom and Sega Saturn, and getting a bit of Genesis and PS2 inbetween. I've been thinking about just getting flash carts for NES, PC Engine and N64, so that I can at least get the console experience for gameplay, long before I get into collecting for the systems.
With that said, you need Rocket: Robot on Wheels and Sin & Punishment :3 oh and Doom 64 is also lovely!
i am soooo happy gba games are now on the wii U virtual console
You know an everdrive version 3 is 169 bucks and you can fit the entire library on an sd card. I got a bunch of my original carts and still use them but fir real save yourself thousands and play every game you want. Players choice goldeneye I had that box and manual since 1997 just never threw them out. Years later I sold it and a bunch of others to 1 guy I still had everything the packaging all of it for like resident evil 2 and doom 64 smash bros and some others.
Missing Pilotwings 64 and Excitebike 64.
Doom 64 and shadows of the empire are must haves
Diddy Kong Racing in my oppinion! and favorute most be Turok Rage Wars
there are some games i had back then and you should pick em up: quake, doom 64, donald duck: goin' quackers (a pretty good one) chopper attack, gex 64 and command & conquer :D well there are many many more i dont remember which ones i used to have but these ones are my fav
I'd say Banjo Tooie is even better than Banjo Kazooie! Love them both, though.
I love all the games
A really great video, thanks for that! Some of the packages are indeed not in a very good condition. Do you collect games even in a not so good condition? Or you do not care?
Great question - when the price is right I will get it. Especially if I find it locally to save on shipping.
Nintendo Collecting Thx :-) Love your Videos! Thumbs up!
Nintendo Collecting I actually found a box of Clay fighter Sculptor's cut on EBay for $7.95 and the manual for $10.00.
I didn't buy it but I just looked at it and was so surprised for that and trust me I am not kidding.
You should try Bobotron 64. I picked this one recently and it is a great game.
I have the boxes for
Mario kart 64 - players choice
Starfox 64 - regular
Yoshi's story - players choice
Super Mario 64 - regular
and also the expansion pak and the memory card!
oh no Resident Evil 2 for the N64?
You should buy it :)
Your my favorite collector
Do you ever think you'd go for complete N64 collection? For me, it's my definitive system so I I'm trying to go for a complete library. It appears it may be yours as well because of your console/controller collection for it. Of course space is an issue but the N64 is good stuff so it's worth it.
Love that Gex cover. Gex 3 : 1 6!
Great Video
Personally, I thought Banjo Tooie's worlds were just TOO HUGE. They were more of a chore for me than in Banjo Kazooie
Well said. Nuts n Bolts = HUGE levels and whyyyyyy did they ruin everything?
One word...MICROSOFT
+Marwarluigi ^
Get the Presskit of Majoras Mask. The real FIRST collectors edition of a video game.
watch?v=5_WsTx7eMWc
Hey Lithium,
I love your videos and was wondering if I should get a Nintendo 3DS or a Wii U?
I'd love to hear your opinion,
Thanks
There's a fourth Turok as well if you weren't already aware
It's impossible to describe to your friends why you harvest moon.
Agreed - whenever I try it just sounds ... lame but I LOVE it
Mortal Kombat Trilogy is one of my favorite N64 games. I do have a lot of favorite N64 games. If you want to, You can try getting Mortal Kombat 4 and Mythologies. They're both good. Mythologies is fun but 4 and Trilogy are better. Check them out.....when you get a chance.
theres actually a not for resale version of all 3 mario parties. although mp1 is extremely hard to find.
Where do you get your games? I can't find any new games for less than 70$
I like Banjo-Kazooie more than banjo tooie
Me too.
$400 for a complete clayfighter sculptors cut????I know this video is over a year old but they are selling for north of $2000. One went for $2600 CAD, and another for $2200
I remember buying Quest 64 for damn near 80 bucks when it first released. It's a crap game, but the systems underneath it were awesome for the time. If it ever got a sequel it could have been great. Also, the music is absolutely fantastic.
My opinion you shouldve had gauntlet legends that was one of myfavs I miss my old 64
You should get spider-man. It's really fun
i like diddy kong racing more
I didn't hear you say lightspeed rescue
My Top 9 Favorite N64 Games. If you didn't have at least one of these games in your N64 collection, then you really missed out on some of N64's best games.
#1 Banjo Kazooie
#2 Paper Mario
#3 Donkey Kong 64
#4 Super Mario 64
#5 Super Smash Bros.
#6 Banjo-Tooie
#7 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
#8 Golden Eye 007
#9 Conker's Bad Fur Day
Castlevania would make it in my top 10 N64 games of all time!
you have to add rocket robot on wheels to your collection it was made by sucker punch who made the sly Cooper and infamous series it's easily as good as any other platform game on the N64 it has alot of charm and personality it's one of my personal favorites on the system check it out
my take on game collecting, I only get the games I like. No point for me getting the bad ones.
and I just can't like smash bros..
+cpu64 the original one?
+Luigi999 any of them actually, i just dont like the game mechanics. too messy for my taste.
you missed star wars shadows of the empire and the allmighty superman 64, i mean, just for its status it deserves to be collectible, right? :p
I was so hoping you had Rayman
DAM IT! Your videos keep distracting me from studying. Lol
