Looks good man! Have you tried interrupting the quench just after it goes black? I am not a HT expert, but I understand that the longer it stays in the Martensite conversion stage the less stress is in the steel and the better the conversion. I think it goes like cool to under 850°F (450°C) then slowly cool to tempering temp. I am SS guy, so never tried, but worth looking into. Keep up the great work! Dan
