    G'day Dave and John, thanks heaps for this idea. My dad spent yesterday making one for his garage. He has already stored his HSD T-33 Turbine (in its original foam box together with the wings) and CARF radial Corsair on it, as well as some of his foamies. He's even going to make a smaller fixed one for the rest of his models. Now he wants to help me make one, which would be handy. As Dave showed, very strong construction and a perfect solution for a mobile, stable storage rack. Cheers lads, Mike from Australia.

    I like it. It's more versatile than pvc and definitely stronger.

    Those are nice. I made mine similar about 15 years ago for 48'' to 58'' planes. Now I just have GS planes and 74'' to 78'' electrics. Gave the racks to friends.

      From the bottom: 85", 78", 73" 60". They're holding up very well too.

    Great stuff here fellas! Boy do I love that color scheme of that extra Jim Bourke! They sold all that were on the container before the container even arrived. 😥
    Maybe they'll have more on the next container.

    I've just made something like that from 8 mm beech wood rods and pine bars (think it's close to 1" by 2"), but just for the wings. It can handle lots of them.
    The fuselages all got a "clown nose" for the spinner, 3D printed from TPU, to stand on while leaning on the wall 😁
    The only problematic planes are the EDF foam jets. They don't really match anywhere, short wings and wide fuselages.

      @RCVideoReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm keeping one of my small PVC racks for those pesky jets.

    Hello I'd like to make a correction I didn't remember I had upgraded the wheels the casters , these casters are 1.25" inchs Or one in a quarter inches in diameter rated for 25 pounds each.

    Eloquent design!! One question: for the stationary assembly on the wall, what is the advantage of first attaching the wood rather than attaching the brackets directly to the wall?

    • @RCVideoReviews

      I'll ask Dave to respond.

      Hello, there are several reasons why I ranther mount them on wood. I rather make less holes on the wall. The wood goes on the wall with 3 anchors. The rails have about 8. It depends how big they are. The walls are not always straight they have bellies Sometimes, if you have wood behind the rails it's easier to level it out In my opinion, if you are doing it in concrete you rather just drill 3 holes than more. I would assume plus the concrete block is not always perfect( Concrete blocks not lined up) So the wood provides a flat surface. But they can definitely be mounted straight on the wall. Whether it's concrete or drywall, the wood behind it provides more flexibility and less repairs at the time of removing them. I hope this helped have a good one.🙂

      I already started using the wood backing. Much neater design. Tx for the tips and the mobile rack will be next!

    doing this for years, I put plane on side with wheels facing wall. Rudder sticks out less in to room than the elevator does if placed right side up.

    Hi ,do you think you could show me how to bind any radiolink rx to the tx16s ,I'm new with this tx and I have no idea how to bind it😒😒

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are the supported Radiolink Protocols: github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/blob/master/Protocols_Details.md#RadioLink---74
      You follow the Radiolink process to put the Rx into bind mode, and on the Tx hit the bind button. It's pretty much the same for everything.

    Can you tell me the four planes (3 on the wall rack and 1 on the mobile rack) that are pictured in this video, please? - Thank you

    • @davidpaker626
      @davidpaker626 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello how are you to answer your question . the Rack on the wall the airplane on the top is a 2 m vanquish pattern Plane from extreme flight, the 2nd one from the top down Is a 62" acuity from AJ aircraft The ,3rd one the black 1 is a 73" S back 342 I don't really know who makes that 1, the last 1 on the bottom is a crusader from hobby king which is actually an ugly stick with a different name and the 1 on the Mobile rack is a 60" extra 300 EXP V-2 from extreme flight .If you got any more questions ask away have a good one. Oh I just realized there's one more plane down at the bottom on the wall Rack, that is a alpha 450 Trainer I think that was from E flight.

      Hello how are you . Give me some time, let me work through the logistics of it and figure out a way of making them quicker and cheaper .and I will let you know. give me a week or so I will do my best to try to make kits for sale. So if you know of other people that are interested, that would make it easier because the more I can make the cheaper I can make them .they still won't be cheap cause this is a custom, handmade product But I'll do my best, Have a good one.
