Thank you for showing some ACDC history. I have always loved Back in Black, Highway to Hell and You Shook Me All Night Long. ACDC were the epitome of the 70's & 80's rock for me and I still love them today. Beautiful church. RIP Bon and Malcolm. Loved this vlog.
@@LeveyHere He and his wife moved here at least 20 years ago. He's a car nut and so when I met him all we talked about were Aston Martin and other English cars. Perry Neuroth Angus owns a place in Kangaroo Point in Sydney and I bumped into his wife, then him on Kurnell Beach. He is so unassuming and genuinely nice and I didn’t want to be an obnoxious fan, even though Angus, Mal and Bon are closest you’ll get to religion in Australia, I merely exchanged pleasantries and left them to their beach walk.
I'm watching this from Glasgow where it is a very bleak and cold mid winter's day. I can see why the Youngs (and Colin Hay's family) moved to Melbourne! Beautiful place.
it's funny how some of the greats start out with just humble beginnings, AC/DC are Rock n Roll, Malcolm and Angus have always been humble, in my opinion, very cool for posting this .

As soon as you mentioned George's name, my mind immediately went to "Friday on My Mind". Fantastic song! I always like when you enter churches to show us what the inside looks like and that church is very beautiful. So sad what happened to Malcolm because he was so young.
Awesome vlog. Malcolm was a very intriguing person. The. Church was absolutely beautiful! The grief his family felt was excruciating I am sure and probably felt the most by his brother. They seemed so close. Great vlog Jordan, definitely one for the books!
An awesome way to start the day with some AC / DC ! Van Halen fans may disagree but this is the only band with 2 iconic albums with different vocalists Highway To Hell with Bon & Back In Black with Brian.
I have said this for years!!! The only 2 bands that I personally liked the new lead singers are VH & AC/DC! Not that anyone is better or worse, by any means! I just like Bryan Johnson and Sammy Hagar. 5150 was a completely different sound for VH and I think that was a good thing. When bands try to find a new front man that is like the previous one, I think that can be setup for disappointment. Props to DLR and Bon Scott for being the originators though. Greatness has to begin somewhere....🤘🏼🎶♥️
My kinda vlog. Old Rock has a special place in my heart. Both my brothers and my dad played guitar. My older brother played in local rock bands. When he lived in Florida he hung out with some of the members of Cheap Trick. There was always Fenders sitting on there stands when I was growing up. Thank you Jordan. You always take me down memory lane.
Next time you’re in Holland, you should visit Angus’ home. It’s pretty impressive too. I’ve been an AC/DC fan for more than twenty years, but I think they should have done the honorable thing after Malcolm died and Brian and Phil were dismissed, and retired the band name. They are only a shadow of their former selves today. By the way, lederhosen and a schoolboy uniform are completely different things. I enjoyed this video, thank you for posting
I’m a big fan of yours I can’t believe you were here in Australia 🇦🇺 I’ve learnt so much from you regarding Hollywood history love you Jordan and hoping you enjoyed Australia
I live close to Burwood, and have been a Sydney guy all my life (though that'll be changing when I move to Tasmania next year). The same people that did Malcolm's funeral service also did my grandmother's funeral a couple of years ago - only a much smaller church. I recognise some of the people working for the service. During the 60's/70's, my grandmother lived in Melbourne and was a friend of Bon Scott during his days with The Valentines, and a little before he joined Fraternity. She was amused by being mentioned in Irene Thornton's book 'my Bon' as a 'white witch'. That was 50 years ago. I don't have a connection with AC/DC, and although it's within walking distance, I've never checked out where the Youngs lived. Thanx for the video
Hi Jordan Back n Black was the one Album I had as a teen and I blew out my parents speakers with it they were pissed dang grounded again lol Love AC/DC❤💯Thanks Jordan
True story. The early incarnation of AC/DC (pre Bon Scott) played at my high school (Ibrox Park Boys High) . The students hated them so much that they told them to stop playing and get off the stage. AC/DC refused. The all boy school students stopped them playing and chased them out of the school grounds. Years later .....AC/DC released their first single and it was a hit. Those same students are now some of their biggest fans.
This was a real surprise for me. I didn't know AC/DC had anything to do with Australia. I got to see them live once and it was a hell of a good show. At the end of the show. Angus sang the last song. Then he turned his back to the audience and pulled his pants down and he had Union Jack underwear on. Everyone in the crowd laughed. It was funny to see. I was sorry to hear about Malcolm. I loved AC/DC and am sorry we lost Malcolm. I hope he's resting in peace. Singing his songs and playing. Thank you for doing this vlog. I learned new things today thanks to you. Safe Travels and Take Care.
I did the exact same as you except I never went to his balmain home. I did manage to get into the doctors surgery tho and have a wee walk down the corridor
AC/DC great band and a beautiful story. Every church you show in all your vlogs are so beautiful and stunning. Thank you Jordan this was a great vlog as usual... Love to you and Jah...
Hi Jordan, that looked a lovely church at the start of the vlog. Wow, you got a few good views of the property. Dementia is such a horrible disease. I really liked it when you were driving over the bridge. What a lovely church at the end, inside and out, and beautiful stained glass windows.Great vlog Jordan.

I saw the Highway To Hell tour in Indianapolis, 1979. Bon died not long after. Then again in 80 with Brian on the Back In Black tour. Great band and memories! Cool seeing where they grew up. Thanks!
I love ACDC!!!! I also love Deep Purple. Highway to Hell was a great song. So sorry about Malcolm. RIP. Great vlog Jordan. So informative. Much love to you and Jah. Safe travels❤❤
This was fabulous. Learned some things about him that I didn't know. However, I did know where they got their band name from & that their sister made Angus's costumes for years! ♥️ Malcolm's passing definitely affected me, which just goes to show that you don't have to know someone personally to love and respect them. Rest easy Malcolm, we'll keep things covered for you down here until we meet again. 💙🎸🎶⚡
Been there done that, (Google street view) Not Martha, (their sister) her name was Margaret. Passed away last month. Bon was driving a car, not a van when he arrived for the job as chauffeur. He’s putting words in Bon’s mouth by the way too. He refused at first to hold n them as lead singer and thought it was funny that they would ask him. To him they were just kids and he felt flattered but felt that it couldn’t work, couldn’t understand why they would want him, he didn’t feel he was good enough. They begged and begged because they wanted to get rid of Dave, a man a few Years their senior as well, who wanted them only as his backing band. He didn’t want to be a member he wanted to be “Dave Evans” and “the AC/DC band” He is bisexual and knew what the term AC/DC meant. The Youngs didn’t. He took advantage of their naiveness and literally went to town with it. Bon had told the boys what the bands name meant. That was the breaking point and Angus literally kicked him off the stage once when Dave broke the last straw rubbing up against him with his butt during a performance which ended up with him getting the boot head first into the audience “..and that was the end of that guy” his older brother Malcolm recalled once. (R.I.P. Malcolm) By that point they were determined, and informed Bon that he had to join them onstage. Bon could let them down. They sat around at rehearsal and unlike Dave, Bon was of course respectful, supportive and even protective of the boys. Mal had nothing but praise for Bon, he was their goto man for advice and moral support. “The cool dirty uncle our parents used to tell us to stay away from” Angus once chuckled recalling during an interview. Also, the author of the mini-doc forgets that Ross must have had angels watching over him as he walked into the pizza parlour that day he says. Ross doesn’t particularly appreciate being hounded by his Dad’s fans although he will readily and eagerly tell You anything You want to know, something he has gotten into trouble for. He is vulnerable, he has autism spectrum although he is very outgoing. He is very small framed and not the type of person the blogger would have approached anyway unless of course informed as to who he is. I’m sure he would have been shown the door as Ross always has somebody to keep the flies away lol 😂 One last note yet though, completely overlooked is the new mansion Malcolm had purchased around the time he was interned into the care home the latter of which he also missed but here’s hoping that he can do a follow up and cover all those places and make correction. Otherwise, nice Job! 👍🏻👍🏻
Funny thing. Malcolm's first band Velvet Underground was fronted by Brian Johnson from Newcastle Australia and his last band ACDC was fronted by Brian Johnson from Newcastle England.
Didn't know about the Scotland connection Thanks for the history! My Dad banned rock & roll from our home. We only heard Hank Williams (and heard Elvis when he wasn't home). My Montreal cousins told us about Kiss and AC/DC. Revolution hit our home and Dad lost! He really lost. It was the late 70s. We didn't have a color tv until 1980.
Great Vlog Jordan, ACDC and Inxs would have to be Australia best exports . The EasyBeats were amazing they were our Beatles but a harder rock one....I really enjoyed seeing their Sydney locations... Well done on all your Aussie Vlogs they were amazing, loved every second of them.
tony miller There has been several claims from Bon’s ex Silver Smith as well as his mate and AC/DC booking agent Doug Thaler, among others, over the years that Bon Scott had, in at least part, written lyrics for You Shook Me All Night Long. There are certain lyrics that are stylistically Bon’s like “she told to me to come but I was already there” and that “sightless eyes” was taken from chartreuse eyes, which apparently was an eye colour of a lady he dated. I’m not saying Bon Scott penned the whole song go to whoa, only it’s possible certain ideas Bon was working on with the band prior to his death filtered through into the finished product. It doesn’t change the fact it’s a kick ass song from the greatest export Australia has ever had, AC/DC. Hardly worth jumping all over the lady for making a claim that has been made many times before but is it?
Heeyyy Jordan, Great Vlog today my fav band of all time!! Humble beginnings, it’s just too epic to see their home in Sydney... so iconic, thanks Jordan.❤️ So take care, staysafe🌺🌸🌼🌹🌷🐨🐒🌻🌻🤠
Enjoy the vlog......?, I loved it!! I grew up with their music. So hearing their songs brings back a lot of memories. Thanks Jordan. FYI: Being a northern Minnesotan gal, I had to look up the 1963 snow storm and record breaking cold in Scotland. Whoa!
Anyone wanting to argue with my facts, Angus says it all here. Literally, in interviews. th-cam.com/video/NAg_gIkIAxc/w-d-xo.html
Yes but you’re wrong in a few of your details mate
Very respectfully done , thank you.
Us Aussies cherish the Youngs.

I have that song on my playlist. I love the bagpipes. People would disagree with me because I always said they were Scottish. I knew it!!

Therese So not true!!! Get your facts straight!! You shook me all night long, WAS written by Brian Johnson idiot. If you don’t know, don’t comment!
tony miller There has been several claims from Bon’s ex Silver Smith as well as his mate and AC/DC booking agent Doug Thaler, among others, over the years that Bon Scott had, in at least part, written lyrics for You Shook Me All Night Long.
Whoa!
His brother George died just a couple weeks before him. Nice vlog.
Bit of trivia: Did you know George wrote the song "Love is In The Air" which was a huge hit in 1978 by John Paul Young? Definitely not a rock song!
And both went to Hell and i don't want to imagine the tortures that they are going through right now from these demons. Repent of your sins!
@@Πυξίδατηςηθικής how do you know anything about it dummy
