If your primaries are properly sized, and equal length, then the scavenging effect will give a higher peak HP than regular long tubes, and the long primaries retain low end TQ.
@mememanfresh good news is I've heard a very similar setup that went turbo and it surpsingly doesn't alter the sound much at all since it's already merged together
Awesome work! Do you think you're going to keep it screamer out the hood or get a full system going back? I think that'd really make that thing resonate and screaaaam like you're looking for 😁
If I did a well of enough job creating it, then the longer primaries, and equal length runner, matched with the 8 into 1 merge should improve scavenging while retaining low and mid range tq. It also looks crazy and sets up perfect for my turbo once I get the cash for it!
If it weren't for plans to add a turbo, you could have had an easier time fabricating 180 degree headers with the cross over primaries underneath the oil pan. Would give that similar flat plane crank sound.
@@johnmcmullen456 yessir! I actually had a 180 design just b4 this, but it was causing me ground clearance issues and didn't completely achieve this particular sound. It sounded great for sure, but this setup really hits the spot!
That’s the best sounding catfish I’ve heard! Nice build y’all
Much appreciated!
The guys at animal engineering I hope they ship custom orders.
They might.
That sounds outstanding. Great job!
Thank you! Terrible job overall, but it's pretty decent for my 1st ever header built!
That's a pretty fast catfish 😳
Thank you, I feel like she's a slow drag car, but she's a fast roadcourse car 😃
Thumbnail sold me and I subbed! Fbody owner and Small TH-camr here!!!
Sweet man, I'll check ya out!
The sound is absolutely amazing
Thanks Buff!
awesome work mate, sounds mint
Much appreciated
Man it's bad when you can see all the smoke @night ,and it won't even idle that's got to be something gomer Pyle SERVICE station would do LMAO
Didn't have time to get the final tune, just barely made the race. I have a dyno session lined up soon to finish it out.
awesome!
❤️
Sounds sooooo good!
Thanks, I love it!
Man I wish we could race at night! Lol
Lol ikr!
Sounds amazing
Thanks buddy!
It's soooooo goood!
Dude that thing sounds killer! Nice work man💪
Thanks buddy!
Hell Yeah Man 😎
Thanks, I have to say it's my favorite version of my exhaust so far 😆
please turbo that thing.
It's in the works 😉
Sounds killer! 💪🎶
Thank you! 😊
Cool😊
I concure!
Pretty cool idea. Like to know how it affects HP....

Cant wait till it gets a turbo haven't seen that done yet 8 to t6😮
A turbo is in the works! 😉
@torqueracingproduction can't wait it's gonna sound like heaven I understand if it has to be a t4 🤤
@@winemillerbrian I agree!
yeah lets ruin the sound with a turbo
@mememanfresh good news is I've heard a very similar setup that went turbo and it surpsingly doesn't alter the sound much at all since it's already merged together
It needs nitrous
I do love me some spray, but I'm thinking of a turbo this time.

Once the turbo is on I'll be doing dual fender exits for the "wind curtain effect" to reduce aerodynamic drag during acceleration.
@@torqueracingproduction I look forward to it! Best of luck
@@kransurfing thank you!
What part of WV?
Eastern KY.
Sounds great, wish there was easier ways to get a setup like this into a street car
Yea sadly it took alot of work for this setup and I've never built headers before so I was a nervous wreck lol
What's the engine?
LS1
What's the purpose, other than sounding amazing !!

@@torqueracingproduction Definitely sounds great! I applaud you for all the work involved.
@johnmcmullen456 thank you, it's the 1st set I've ever attempted, so later I'll try again to make it a little more appealing to the eyes lol
why are you running so rich?
This was just a base tune to get it running, I have a dyno spot opened in a few weeks.
