- Finally a new song! (A quite weird one though, I hope you don't unsubscribe, haha)
All guitars are recorded with an Axe Fx Ultra (my patches still need some tweaking).
There are quite some overdubs, for the video there are lots of clips edited together, so it's not really a "live performance".
The strange indian reduction time signatures in the middle section of the song are something that I've learned from Mattias IA Eklundh at his Freak Guitar Camp.
It was really the worst thing I've ever had to solo over ;-)

@stringbender69 that song was recorded with the Axe Fx Ultra by Fractal Audio. Some previous songs where recorded with a miked up amp in an isolation box, but getting a heavy sound is much easier with the Axe Fx since I don't really have a metal amp, only vintage-esque amps.

the minimal requiremnts are being able to read tab or notation and "being dedicated" ;-)
the camp is mostly about odd time rhythms, exotic scales etc.
not really any basic technique building exercises (just for info)

I think I haven't mentioned anything about changing patches with the nanopad in my facebook posting.
Anyways, the way I changed patches in that one video isn't the best solution: What I did was making several channels in Ableton Live, have a different vsti in each channel and then mute/unmute the channels with CC messages from the nanopad. So it's no real patch changing...yet
I still love the break at 1:28 SOO awesome and what comes after it, and before :D
@GeorgeJPage The video is edited with Sony Vegas Pro 9, the chroma key plugin (for the green screen) is by newBlue. The actual backgrounds are things that I've filmed with some color FX added, or it's just a visualization from winamp (to record the visualizations I used FRAPS)
