Started doing those Flexion rows 2 weeks ago, remembered them from 1 of your earlier videos, and man it's one hell of an exercise to finish off backday. When your back is already dead from all the heavier lifting, doing those really slow and really focusing on the contraction feels really horrible in the most incredible way.
I’ve been sticking to the same workout routine for a year and three months now, hitting it every day with maybe 10 days off at most. The results keep coming because I’ve just been adding more weight-classic progressive overload. What really matters is consistency, good sleep, proper nutrition, and staying hydrated. It’s not the perfect routine for competition, but it works for me and for others I know. Mostly bodyweight and compound movements. Keep it simple, but above all, stay consistent. in the end the best program is the one you can stick to.
Exactly what i was looking for . I will definitely check out the programs to support you in return for you always supporting us for free. Great content!
Never been a fan of Meadows Row....always felt like an unnecessarily similar movement to what I was already doing with dumbells. Flexion rows are on another level when it comes to pump though. I've been doing them quite often after the RP video came out. Extremely humbling :)
Tried looking up strongman comps in PA and had no idea you were located in the state! Awesome seeing you compete and lifting with Juji and Martins. Definitely using these workouts to build some strength. Cheers man!
I love meadows rows. Such a great connection with that movement. And I've been wanting to get a log for my home gym but I don't know which size I should get? Do you have a suggestion on a diameter? Thanks bro. Keep up the great work
@@jaredgalloway3642 I'll take jf's word on squats and deadlift but you def see more large diameter logs in people who are good at log, the stoltmans, martins, big Brian shaw. So I respectfully disagree with you and agree with Joey, just wanted a confirmation before making the purchase
The reason he uses an 8 inch is because it's smaller and therefore more difficult then a competition... So if u can clean a much smaller log then more power during comps... Similar to martins licis using an unstable dumbbell during his one arm dumbbell presses during training but when moving to the competition it would be easier
Just aWeSoMe content again Joey. You, Alan and Brian must be the top 3 strongman channels on youtube and I'm not going to say in which order, my brain can't make me.

Digging the solo content my dude! Not saying I don't like your stuff with Juji and Martins, but I love this sort of format for your vids
thank you appreciate you!
You didn't show us anything on a bosa ball or talk about core stabilization. 👌

thank you means a lot
Good work Joeseph
Looking forward to plugging some of these in my program

Tried the Flexion Rows, they work when done right.

Excellent!
Thank you.
I needed these joey, pullups feel much harder than chinups which is an indication of weak upper back

What are your thoughts about weighted inverted rows? (to train upper back without axial / lower back fatigue)
Would it be possible to stimulate the log roll with a multi grip bar?
What is this Song at minute 9:00 ?? 😘
Gr8 vid, but I’m really only here to say that Shaka Taco rules ass 🤙🏻🌮
Does anyone recognise the song at the start?
Hey Joey, I always wonder, whether you have any hungarian relatives with this cool surname
Question, are those kegs empty or filled with something?
Just in time for back day 🦍
crush it for me!
Holy shit I feel like I’ve been training wrong my whole life I got back tomorrow I’m doing that
Rip John Meadows, I learned a lot from you.
Is that a Goatee DK?
Are you from p.a?
Those are not Meadov rows
Those are regular landmine rows .. just saying
Ugh, I don’t have fat grips #IDIOT 😩😂
hahah oops
I kept hearing bros instead of rows
Good info, but I couldn’t finish the video because of the shitty music in the background lol
Gotta contort your spine in uncomfortable ways. Shock the muscle!
