This is a great video, exactly what I was looking for. I had seen those straps but didn't know how they worked.
Thank you. We are still using this today. The only thing we have done since then is added a section of rubber vacuum line to the bottom side to prevent scratches on the paint
Awesome job. I used your idea but when I marked out the windshield I traced the hood with a grinding disk on edge than a washer with a sharpie. But I never would have done it without this Video. Also I put Foam take between the bar and the Plexiglass to keep the vibration down .Thank you. Nova Scoita Canada
I’ve used that trick with a washer on flooring before, definitely a good idea. I’m glad to hear it was helpful.
Thanks for sharing, this will save us a few hundred bucks.
You guys are awesome!! Thanks for a great video - I'm headed to Lowes!
I know what my spring project is going to be now. Thanks.
Awesome video windshield turned out great we have built a bunch of windshields for our buggies over the years we need to build some for our current buggies
Great idea. Now you can make a folding one next. At least I bet you could!
We’re thinking about bed covers and upper doors also
Thank you so much! Great video! 👍
OMG I have the same sxs and spent like 5 bills. I will use this method for rear now though! Thanks for doing this video!
It’s working well for us. Thanks for watching!
Using a flat washer works also to draw contour
Perfect, i want make the same, Cheers from argentina, sorry for my english..
I hope it helps, thanks for watching
Thanks for the video!!!!
Helpful vid. I'll be building this. Just saved 250$. Questions: How do you get the windshield from sliding down and bottom edge from rubbing and scratching the paint? I'm thinking weather stripping at bottom edge, thoughts?
I ended up getting vacuum hose and cut a slit down it then slipped it around the bottom edge . I’m glad it was helpful!
Could use pool noodle and your choice of adhesive or put on a glue gun bead/strip on bottom to keep from touching. Just cheap ideas.
Rubber Hose around the edge of the windshield works perfect
Try pipe insulation
they sell rubber edging
Very good job:)Very helpful video!
Thanks
"ready for adventure" ha nice video
This is a very good video, good job Cameron's!

I just made doors for 35$ with straps and clamps with see through tarp
Nice 👍
What size of sheet did you buy?
2x4x1/4
@@CameronsonCamera would you have a link for the windshield can't find a 2x4 sheet
We got ours at Lowe’s a couple years ago.
Same issue trying to find sheet
That would last about 5mins with my rig. But good job for your needs
We. Were lazy we got one for 200made for the machine works great
Nothing wrong with that, they’re a great investment
Hola donde venden el medidor de contornos saludos desde Chile
En Amazon.com.
En el pinche Harbor Frey
How well does it hold up. Thank you from Ohio
I can’t say that I’ve had any issues with it, if you’ve got more time than money it’s a good option. I haven’t had any flexing problems and scratches are minimal. I did take it off at the little Sahara sand dunes (if you saw that one) because it was so hot, I wanted more airflow. Thanks for watching!
@@CameronsonCamera thank you I definitely have more time than money! lol I ride in Ohio and West Virginia so I think it will work great.
@@CameronsonCamera what size thickness for the plexiglass do you know?
We got ours from Lowe’s. It is 2’ x 4’ lexan 1/4” thick
@@CameronsonCamera thank you so much
what thickness
1/4 inch
Can you take this off?
Yes we remove and install as needed, the straps are Velcro
Plexi will crack and shatter and hurt you ! Should of used poly lexan smh and dont need those windshield buckles smh just some velcro straps. And where do you get your crack?
I hope things get better for you dude
@@CameronsonCamera that wasnt an answer. Where do you get your crack?
Awesome video but your voice tho 😅
Under $100.00 after you buy a $200.00 tool
I would say that if someone is looking into building something vs buying something , they most likely already have basic power tools. Dewalt tools are nice but there’s definitely cheaper options out there to get you started.
There were 3 other videos ahead of this one and none had any information of value to this topic this chick just slapped the ego right off those worthless posters.
Thank you.
