    Less than 200 kms of range is insane, but hopefully the new 4680 Model Y should improve that.

    This is still the most under appreciated model Y suspension setups on earth. the front end looks like it was designed from by a off-road / pre-runner/ desert racing shop in SoCal 😂. Fully fabricated upper and lower arms and spindles with uniball / heim pivots?? 99.999% of the clueless ev / overlanders have no concept of what they are looking at. Good work

    Wow nice 👍. Someone actually built custom long travel for a Tesla, cool . Looks like all uniball pivots too ! The frunk is actually an easy place to built a shock tower hoop for more support.

    Bring a more powerful generator next time? The wattage is pretty obvious so it would be easy to calculate how long it's going to take to recharge the car. That shouldn't have been a factor. Great build and nice production, love to see all the amazing creativity from people all over the world. Thank you!

  • @WAFFLEooFILMS
    @WAFFLEooFILMS 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You're pushing the car waaay beyond it's normal limits climbing huge dirt hills and pushing it hard in the desert. Along with changing the wheels to way bigger sizes that are not meant for the car you should expect the range to drop hard. That's like strapping a rock to a remote control car and giving it tiny wheels. They can't even tow a lot in a normal situation. They are just ment to drive on regular roads.
    Come on people don't bring up the range now! after all those mods and terrain change! lol.
    Awesome build though. 👏

    Now that's how you turn a hatchback into a real crossover. A decent ground clearance, a nice set of tires and you can really start having fun with the car. If only the range was good enough. But wait, they have installed a range extender also, that's the cherry on top. It's basically a PHEV now, with an impressive AER. Great work guys, if only Tesla would build something similar, like a real crossover or compact SUV, with AWD and decent range. But wait, we could always buy a RAV4 Prime and be done with it... ;)

    "Has 594 kms of range from factory as Tesla said"
    Tesla doesn't usually make any specific claims on their ranges. They go through the local testing (in China's case cltc), and only publish the results as a reference, that's all.
