And then I tried and realized I was never going to be able to play them. So, I abandoned that quest. Thanks for the comment! We love Jesse, this is definitely a bit of a different flavour though as I don’t think the Blues Power pedal is TS based, but like you say, certain tones do crossover ❤️
It seems to be varying depending on the region but right now we have a 25% off Black Friday sale so it’s worth checking the exact price on the site if you’re able to ❤️ and thanks a lot for that suggestion
Hi Keith, Thanks a lot for the comment, they really are quite different flavours! Texan Twang: This is a transistor-based treble booster that adds a fat, biting tone perfect for cutting through the mix. It also cleans up beautifully when you roll back your guitar’s volume knob, delivering a glassy, crystal-clear tone with vintage character. Cowboy King: This is a chip-based souped up overdrive pedal, enhanced to deliver a super thick, woody, and round sound that feels like it’s on steroids. Despite its powerful, driven tone, it retains a surprising level of clarity-something not often found in circuits of this type. It’s ideal for those seeking a bold yet articulate sound. Really hope that helps a bit! Please let me know if you ever have any more questions.
The Twang is a treble blooster pedal that can get a more neutral tone. It uses a transistor and cleans up great on the volume control of the guitar. This pedal here is a Tube Screamer modified for more volume and that since it's a TS it has some of that inherent EQ character and doesn't clean up as well on the guitar's volume control.
Thanks for your question! Both the Texan Twang and the Cowboy King aim to capture the essence of Texas blues, but they each deliver a unique flavour. • Texan Twang: This is a transistor-based treble booster that adds a fat, biting tone perfect for cutting through the mix. It also cleans up beautifully when you roll back your guitar’s volume knob, delivering a glassy, crystal-clear tone with vintage character. • Cowboy King: This is a chip-based pure overdrive pedal, enhanced to deliver a super thick, woody, and round sound that feels like it’s on steroids. It’s ideal for those seeking a more driven, powerful tone. Really hope that helps a bit and please let me know if you ever have any more questions 🚀
Could you do a lesson on how you guys record your guitar with a mic? You sound so great and I just can't seem to get a sound like this even though I,ve got pretty good equipment... Anyways, this pedal sounds absolutely insane!
Thank you so much for the nice comments on the Pedal and sound! And I would definitely love to record that video for you one day for sure! It’s something we are still very much working on ourselves ❤️
Thanks so much for the question! The Texan Twang is a treble booster at heart, it gives you more of a fat boost and cleans up with your guitars volume knob beautifully, whereas this is pure juicy overdrive!! 🤠❤️ I would say the Fuzz & Octone are more in line with the Hendrix drive thing, whereas both the Texan Twang & Cowboy King capture different flavours of the SRV thing beautifully 🚀
I have been chasing SRV tone all my life. This is the closest I have ever heard it. Granted you are a great player but the tone is still there. I just bought your pedal. Is that a vintage deluxe and strat you are playing through?
Thank you so much, that really means the world to hear such a thing! This is a reissue amp and the guitar is a partscaster that was put together for not a lot of money ❤️🚀

How does this pedal compare to the Texan twang?
Hi mate,
Thanks a lot for the question!
They are both different flavours 🤠🚀

Thanks for the comment! We love Jesse, this is definitely a bit of a different flavour though as I don’t think the Blues Power pedal is TS based, but like you say, certain tones do crossover ❤️
@PedalPawn I'm a marshall user, how about plexi with this pedal
I’d love to see this compared to an original TS808 or a reissue of one.
We’ve shot that video for you against a vintage TS9 ❤ hoping to get it out next Sunday 📽️🟩 thanks a lot for the support!
@ you guys are the best! I love using your products and also how much you listen to us as customers!
How much? When will you make a torus pedal that can do that lovely bass sound?
It seems to be varying depending on the region but right now we have a 25% off Black Friday sale so it’s worth checking the exact price on the site if you’re able to ❤️ and thanks a lot for that suggestion
Would be great to hear this through humbuckers or p90s
Great suggestion, would love to do that in the future, thanks a lot 🚀🎸
How different is this than the Texas Twang pedal?
Hi Keith,
Thanks a lot for the comment, they really are quite different flavours!
All of your pedals sound like Stevie Ray Vaughn.
I already have your SRV pedal (Texas Twang). What is the difference?
Nice ! Where's the Super Reverb though ?
Thank you very much! And great question, it’s actually off to the side under the Pedal wall aha 🎛️😝
Put it with the Texas twang and a fuzz! How would it sound?
Wow, that would tear the roof off 😂🙌🤠🚀
Could you do a lesson on how you guys record your guitar with a mic? You sound so great and I just can't seem to get a sound like this even though I,ve got pretty good equipment... Anyways, this pedal sounds absolutely insane!
Thank you so much for the nice comments on the Pedal and sound! And I would definitely love to record that video for you one day for sure! It’s something we are still very much working on ourselves ❤️
What’s the difference with the Texas blues overdrive ? Which one would be best for SRV/ Hendrix sound ?
Thanks so much for the question! The Texan Twang is a treble booster at heart, it gives you more of a fat boost and cleans up with your guitars volume knob beautifully, whereas this is pure juicy overdrive!! 🤠❤️ I would say the Fuzz & Octone are more in line with the Hendrix drive thing, whereas both the Texan Twang & Cowboy King capture different flavours of the SRV thing beautifully 🚀
Why you don't try couboy king vs vintage ts9
We’ve filmed that video for you and hoping to upload it on Sunday 🟩❤️🚀
@PedalPawn thanks guys❤️
Oooffff sounds great, how much?
