I just incorporated the split stretch and the Cossack stretch with my leg workout and I can’t believe how loose and flexible I am afterwards. Remarkable. It’s also adding an all new challenge to walking down stairs. Usually stiff. Now have noodles for legs. Thanks for that 😝🥴🤪
Oh my gosh! I used to be able to do this with 0 problems and almost no effort. Now at 52 it’s a massive struggle just to get halfway down! Don’t be like me folks and think because you’re strong and athletic and well coordinated at 30 you will still be at 50! You won’t. Not unless you continue to use your body in an athletic and coordinated way. Use it or lose it definitely applies here! Don’t stop moving! Don’t stop working out.
Great video, I first found out about this exercise from thekneesovertoesguy (fitness youtuber dedicated to fixing knees and leg pain in general) and it's been great. I'm loving everything I'm learning on your channel and I already feel stronger. Gymnastics and calisthenics for the win!
Thank you for this...really helpful in maximizing my lower body for its capacity. I do wish that by year's end your channel will have more subs and reach half million by end of 2021. God bless all your efforts.
TH-cam seems to be a long-distance marathon. As you have worked hard for your dreams, I hope that your channel will gradually develop and become a very big channel. As the algorithm introduced, I just looked down and saw your video. Thank you to the algorithm that made me happy for a while. It will be difficult for anyone to know all of your hard work in video production unless you try it yourself. The rustic and beautiful cafe window is getting brighter in the dark blue atmosphere for a peaceful morning. Looking at the scenery of the cherry blossom trees next to the main road welcoming the early morning in a green atmosphere, I hold my old guitar in my arms and open my phone blankly. As if nothing in the world is easy. As long as you do TH-cam, you can't ignore the algorithm, but even if the TH-cam environment changes, you can sweetly change the thumbnail you see right away, but you can create your own You must not miss it. It may be very difficult, but I am not concerned about the results right now, but I am grateful for the little things that grow very little and think that it is a backpacking trip that goes far away alone. There is a feeling of certainty and belief that it will come true. I have a feeling that your TH-cam will surely succeed. So I think the best thing to do is to focus on what I want to do at that time. The TH-cam world seems to resemble the rich, poor, poor, and poor, just like the world in which people live. It's a small thing, but with a grateful heart, I apologize if you were uncomfortable with the lengthy comments on the first page of the morning as I wrote a few rude comments like this. Stay healthy always.
So, I spend more time in the chair than not, and my hips are definitely too tight. The first time I tried this exercise (a few weeks ago) I could pretty much feel my quad lengthening. I thought I'd pulled it but it didn't hurt the next day. I had the same result a few more times, so now I start the exercise in the bottom position to find the a position where it is only slightly stretched before I do any reps.
@@rickjason1786 all exercises can help that strengthen those muscles, but you don't really need to overcomplicate it. The seated leg raise is way enough

hi adam, any sets and reps scheme you recommend ?
3x5-10 depending on the intensity
If you have knee pains that aren't serious, don't do exercises that involve that knee or your knees to failure. This may also work for hip pains
Curious, Adam..... how would develop or strengthen your Rectus Femoris? The main muscle in the L Sit and Hanging Leg Raise.
Starting with seated leg raises
@@GymnasticsMethod Any other exercises e.g. Leg Extension or Bulgarian Squat, Straddle Deadlift aka Jefferson Lift? Thanks for replying.
@@rickjason1786 all exercises can help that strengthen those muscles, but you don't really need to overcomplicate it. The seated leg raise is way enough
@@GymnasticsMethod ok

What about lower body fat ?
