That it went from Sam cheaply screaming at the players to a body suddenly falling down right in front of the players really shows how this show evolved.
I want one where Sam tells them to not flinch, but doesn't say "Sam says", for the vindication from someone like Lou and the confusion from the people who managed to hold their face.
This prompt followed by the little pop out sams coming up, but very slowly like they are malfunctioning. The. Those who didnt flinch lose a point, then right before the next prompt have some crazy bullshit happen.
@@jessesaunders7043 sam says 2, sam asked them to wager points before the next sam says, zac tried to make sure that this was real but it didnt matter he still lost 15 points lol
Best part of the falling body was knowing from future interviews that they cut a lot of the reaction and they were actually shocked closer to a full minute. Sam admitted it was one of the few times they were worried they went too far.
Given the fact Lou swore at him, told him "you know what take the point" and slapped him with a cold "you need to be reigned in", I'd argue Sam's worries are fair and also that yes it was too fucking far. Making game changers players break character is really fucking hard, making them break character AND forget they're on TV and should be trying to avoid certain language should be impossible, but man did it

If you look closely, he also flinched and screamed when Alex(?) walked out from behind the curtain and touched his back when they walked past to retrieve the body
I remember when the mini podium Sams seemed like the most elaborate thing they had done on the show. If it's dummies falling from the ceiling now then I'm terrified at what's gonna be in a "Don't Flinch" prompt in the next one.
When the crew member comes out at the end to move the "body" and touches Lou gently on the back to let him know they're coming by, and Lou freaks out at the touch XD he's just so startleable
Brennan approached the jack in the box the same way I approach horror games. Everything happens at full sprint. If I'm going flat out you can't jump scare me. I AM the jumpscare.
Sam should’ve done it again after doing the “don’t flinch” move multiple times but without saying “sam says” so they have to flinch after they’re used to it
It's today I realized that either that, last scare was so good that it caused Lou to literally jump out of his shoes. OR, Lou plays this game with no goddamn shoes on. And I have no idea which is funnier
eventually we need a "sam says flinch" prompt, where he does the most calm and proper pronunciation of the letter "a", and the players need to massively overreact
I think my favourite part is the amount of time it took me to realize that when the body falls, the high pitched scream, is Lou, the scream you would have thought was Lou is actually Jacob, and that Vic stayed completely silent
anyone remember the "don't flinch" that lou gets like a ping pong ball launched at him or something like that? i havent seen it in so long but i swear i remember it happening
That it went from Sam cheaply screaming at the players to a body suddenly falling down right in front of the players really shows how this show evolved.
I personally like the pop-up screaming Sam from the episode with Ally Jake and Zac.
They can still go in so many directions from there 🤣
I'm fully expecting someone to burst from a podium in the next Sam says.
You could say the game…changed.
what's next right?
We needed a prompt that was "Sam says, from this point onwards, don't flinch" and leave everyone waiting for flinching moments at any time.
Found Satan.
Or also: "don't flinch," * mild surprise*
"Unfortunately, I didn't say sam says"
And then he just doesn't jump scare them
Or “Sam says don’t flinch,” then wait 5 minutes, then move onto the next prompt before IMMEDIATE jumpscare.
@@sparki9085 I want that to be a thing. Not one jumpscare in the whole show. Just watch the paranoia creep in slowly
Thank you for this compilation. Literally searched "sam says don't flinch" in the hope someone like you had made a compilation
"Hey, let me tell you: The day I *don't* curse when a body falls from the sky, call somebody."
I think that's pretty fair, really. 😂

such an amazing line 😂
Love how the concern’s that Lou didn’t swear, not that a body fell from the sky XD
Huge proper use of a colon. I love you.

this is so evil and ABSOLUTELY something that he'd do
or if he said "Salmon Says" again or something to confuse them lol
maybe even throw in a "Sam says flinch" to see if they dont immediately realize
This prompt followed by the little pop out sams coming up, but very slowly like they are malfunctioning. The. Those who didnt flinch lose a point, then right before the next prompt have some crazy bullshit happen.
DONT ENCOURAGE HIM
Brennan: "My lovely wife is absolutely going to use that airhorn again within seconds. You fools."
I love Lou’s trust being so broken he’s also terrified of Ash coming out to collect the dummy corpse lol
that was Nico but yes so funny 😂
To be fair, in his freaked out pacing he walked *past* where the doorway to the back was, so he genuinely didn't see the crew person walking out lol
"My heart rate is so fast right now"
Sam: "...I've got an idea!"
💀
Feels like that absolutely was the seed for the heart monitor episode
Sam Says 3 was truly evil and I love it so much
still not as evil as zac losing 15 points at once
The escalation from just yelling to dropping a fucking body from the ceiling
@michaualtington when was that?
@@jessesaunders7043 sam says 2, sam asked them to wager points before the next sam says, zac tried to make sure that this was real but it didnt matter he still lost 15 points lol
Sam Says 3 might be my favorite dropout episode.
The last airhorn at the end was cruel lmao
i jumped a MILE.
And now you took the joy away from everyone else
...and that is a point away from @Faith276 and @xomiom!
Go ahead and just poke me back down
Thanks for letting me know hahahaha
I just noticed that Lou freaked out at the falling Dummy so much he lost a shoe.
He had his shoe off from an earlier prompt
Nah he was just doing foot stuff earlier lmao
@@davidthedelinquent "doing foot stuff"
Lou's most tortured by it.

Holy shit true
Calm down
Lou flinched so hard at the falling body he jumped out of his shoes 😂😂
If you look closely, he also flinched and screamed when Alex(?) walked out from behind the curtain and touched his back when they walked past to retrieve the body
i think he just hadn't put his shoes back on properly after the fetishist bit sam had them all do (he showed them his FEET for NOTHING??!!)
3:21
“You should be reigned in” is a perfectly blunt criticism
*reined
*rained
This has just convinced me that Brennan is just some undead construct that knows no fear besides losing a point
No he also fears Rekha when he's DMing her
Brennan, at 00:59, literally reacting to the "What did Brennan do that was GIF-able" with a GIF-able reaction was so on point😂
it was more gifable than the gifable thing itself
Still annoys me that Sam says jif though.
@@SomethingWellesian It's pronounced "JitHub".
@@SomethingWellesian He says it correctly it's not Ghiff
@@emporioalnino4670 Ghiff? Where'd the H come from? Or the second F? If you remove those silent letters, you end up with... Gif. Oops!
I’d honestly kill for a “tournament of champions” (or losers) episode of Sam says, just to see HOW Sam escalates the bit.
I liked when the crewmember taps Lou on the back when passing him and it spooks him extra.
Sam says has to be Sam's best game. He could do a hundred episodes and I would watch them all. Thanks for the compilation.
i mean there's also make some noise which has like over 30 episodes by now and i doubt its going to get boring any time soon
3:53 Sam says “don’t flinch.”
AAH
A tiny Sam should have appeared 😭
Sam said don't flinch and Lou watched an entire reality collapse before his eyes
I absolutely real life flinched at the last one when I first saw this episode
I was really hoping that Sam Says 3 would have “Sam says flinch” as a prompt with the scare being really mild but requiring them to react.
Or alternatively, Don't flinch, but with no Sam Says 😈
I was waiting for the air horn the entire time they were cranking those Jack in the boxes.
I love the leap from tiny cut outs of sam to a full body dropping from the ceiling
I remember when the mini podium Sams seemed like the most elaborate thing they had done on the show.
If it's dummies falling from the ceiling now then I'm terrified at what's gonna be in a "Don't Flinch" prompt in the next one.
3:14 is one of my favorite Game Changer moments. For some reason the noise the pop-up makes is funny to me and Ally’s reaction is priceless.
"the day i dont curse when a body falls from the sky call somebody" FACTS LOL
The escalation of the prompt from simple to unhinged is perfection.
went from a simple loud sound to a little pop up to a literal body falling from the heavens
2:26 Jake: "don't do anything, it can only see you if you move"
Flinching is something connected to survival instinct and your fight or flight response.
Lou would do pretty well on a survival situation.
Was about to say "No jump scare at the end is a real missed opportunity." And there it was. Nice.
Can't believe no one is talking about Brennans prediction idea
He just heist movie’ed the whole game😂
We really should have seen it coming with how he pointed at the camera after the sounded the air horn.
3:27 Love the Lou-Spin-And-Scream
"That is going to be a point away from Ally." "Why?" 🤣
Not Lou getting jumpscared by a crewmember sneaking behind him to pic up the fake body
"What did brennan do that was gif-able?"
*brennan immediately does something gif-able.*
the airhorn at the end is a crime 😭😭
Sounds to me like that's a point away from you.

Don't flinch from Sam Says 3 is so goddamn hilarious. I have a distinct memory of pissing myself a tiny bit from laughing hard as hell from it.
When the crew member comes out at the end to move the "body" and touches Lou gently on the back to let him know they're coming by, and Lou freaks out at the touch XD he's just so startleable
"my heart rate is so fast right now"
And Sam used that as inspiration for a new game!
Brennan approached the jack in the box the same way I approach horror games. Everything happens at full sprint.
If I'm going flat out you can't jump scare me. I AM the jumpscare.
0:00 Sam is giving me "bilbo craving for the ring vibes"
Right so it’s not just me
That bit where Lou gives Izzy the airhorn had this lovely big brother energy.
If they ever do another Sam says I want the don't flinch just to be 5 seconds of horrifically tense silence before moving on to the next command
Sam should’ve done it again after doing the “don’t flinch” move multiple times but without saying “sam says” so they have to flinch after they’re used to it
Lou is the best all day every day
Massive props to the crew who listen to Sam's ideas and help him do it. They deserve more love
3:23 Lou straight jumped out of his shoe
2:24 has made me laugh way too much
Amazing 😂 The one bit I wish was in here is the clip from another season 5 episode (I forget which) in which the little podium Sams pop up again
Like a cucumber, the heart beat challenge. The trio are tasked with delivering water in large bowls from on end of the stage to the other
I’m so sad we never got “don’t flinch” followed by “I didn’t say Sam says”
The body falling from the ceiling one is the best one imo 😂😂
And here we witness a scientist slowly going mad with power as he pushes the boundaries of his human test objects to their absolute limit 😂
It's today I realized that either that, last scare was so good that it caused Lou to literally jump out of his shoes. OR, Lou plays this game with no goddamn shoes on. And I have no idea which is funnier
My favorite one is the cardboard Sam poking out of the podiums
Brennan isn't even surprised Izzy immediately blew the airhorn. That's love right there lol
it's like a competitive eric andre guest segment
3:20 Sam scared Lou right out of his shoes. x3
hard
That scream at 3:22 is so epic. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love Brennan's smug look at the camera after he tells Sam what he wrote on his card.
Subbed because of that last airhorn that was smart LOL
I’m ready for Sam Says 4 saying “Don’t Flinch” but not saying Sam Says
3:21 is peak and you can't convince me otherwise
Watched this again to focus on the individual reactions when the body drops out of the ceiling.
Unrelated, I just pulled a muscle in my ribs!
Unrelated you say?
I scrolled down to look at the comments thinking the video was over.
eventually we need a "sam says flinch" prompt, where he does the most calm and proper pronunciation of the letter "a", and the players need to massively overreact
I find it so fuckin funny right out the gate "Sam says don't flinch AAAH- ...I feel like that counts Lou" "YEAH, IT DOES"
Izzy's delivery on "I'm CRAZY" is, I think, my favorite small Dropout moment.
Brennan immediately running into his mind palace and closing the door behind him the moment he hears the prompt.
Sam has to drop a "don't flinch" without saying "sam says" first, meaning the contestants have to flinch. That would really get a rise out of them.
The last toot at the end 🏆
The fact that I immediately thought of the restaurant Jack-in-the-box is depressing
THERE ISN'T EVEN A JACK-IN-THE-BOX ON THIS SIDE OF THE COUNTRY
3:23 Lou's shoe that just sort of pops out and he's walking around in just one shoe as he calms down. Never noticed that until now and I'm losing it
I think my favourite part is the amount of time it took me to realize that when the body falls, the high pitched scream, is Lou, the scream you would have thought was Lou is actually Jacob, and that Vic stayed completely silent
Actually Vic has a higher pitched scream that you can hear during Lou’s second one.
The guy falling from the ceiling gets me every time lol
Brennan: Chaotic Good
Izzy: Good when Chaotic
Which is why they work🤣
I've never heard of this show, but this is so Caine-coded
The way he said 'gif'-able made me flinch.
Lou might be the most high-strung of the entire cast. He nearly has a meltdown every time there's a tense battle or big roll in Dimension 20.
Something about watching Lou, who’s built like a linebacker, flinch every time is super endearing.
My favorite reaction is Lou tripping after the body fell when the stagehand comes on
3:21 is my all time favourite one lol
anyone remember the "don't flinch" that lou gets like a ping pong ball launched at him or something like that? i havent seen it in so long but i swear i remember it happening
Lou’s reaction to the body dropping is the most priceless
Along with the timeless quote of “You should be reined in, but that was good.”
During the jack in the box section i was hoping izzy would use the airhorn again.
Ally going "Why?" at losing a point for flinching always gets me 2:43
Brennan left hanging on that fist bump lol
OK PUTTING THE AIRHORN AT THE END??? 😂😂😂😂
Back in the early days when Sam says hadn’t realized its potential
Would have been funnier if one of the jack in the boxes had an air horn rigged to its opening
I feel like at this point, Lou just has an automatic reaction to the words 'don't flinch'
I saw the body fall and went, ohhhhhh noooooo. He's dead.
Brennan turning the Jack in the box “ HAVE AT THEE CREATION! “
at any moment he can say "don't flinch"
and anyone who doesn't flinch gets their point taken off
