can you imagine being cursed and the ONLY thing that would lift it is a cricket shooting a rocket at you, and you spend years just accepting the fact that that shit will never happen to you. and then you get abducted by a bunch of tiny men and are forced to fight and in the distance you see a cricket with a firework. can you imagine how much you’d be sweating
The "I'll have to kill you. You know that, right?" absolutely destroys me every single time. The very calm method of intimidation impressing in the fact that he has firmly used all his chances.
Imma be honest, having the cure for the curse being something so specific is actually pretty in line for old fairy tales. One of the old versions of Frog Prince I read needed, not a kiss, but for the princess to throw the frog into a wall with the intention to kill him. A fox needed his head and feet to be cut off. A lot of curses are actually undone by death. I don’t think any lesson was meant for the curse undoing, fae just did crud.
Old fairy tail curses and deals were wils. Your son would open a window because he was lazy then a giant bird would fly into your home and say "You must stay awake for 5 days straight while hanging upside down from the big ewe tree and someone must show you kindness for your faith and only then will I stop eating your children."
@@RedRatttif I didn't have context for this conversation I'd be asking you which fairy tale that was from. Hell, it might still be from an old fairy tale.
Turns out the witch who cursed him wanted it to be as unlikely as possible for her curse to be broken, but still give the tiniest shadow of hope to fuck with him.
i appreciate you making this video so much and for labeling from what episode the scene is from. The whole cricket firework scene is one of my favorites of all time.
I think Rick Perry and the Design Team are Goddamn Heroes, I think they saw how the epic of Alphonse concluded, and made a note for one of The Fairy Godmothers to be bug themed
The funny thing is Cricket didn't even actually hit anything. Brennan said "add +6 to this roll" Lou rolled a ten, said "sixteen" Brennan also added the +6 and said "twenty two!" Cricket should have missed, it really was destiny
Haven't seen this season yet, so I saw the title and was waiting the entire half hour for this cowardly dumb mule to have a Calroy-style twist at the end and it just never happened lmao

Im so grateful this video exists because everything pib says to Alphonse is HILARIOUS

Lou repeating Zac’s “cmon Alphonse” at 23:25 with a devious face thinking they were both trying to ensure Alphonse dies sends me every time
Having owned a mule, this is exactly how one would act if it were sapient. Can't speak on a cursed prince though

I love, when Zac plays morally grey characters, it's Kriffing hilarious
I’ve been wishing for an Alphonse supercut since the season ended thank u so much for this

22:20 Was that +6 added twice? One by Lou, then Brennan not seeing the roll thinking Lou rolled 16?
26:37 Brennan breaking at his own absurdity is my fav
Sorry, do you mean herstory?
Wait wait, I'm sorry. Did you mean herspital?
@@Bokmoh the she/herspital?
And the doctor was a woman
I’m gonna tell my kids this story at bedtime 😂
Alphonse is just donkey Patches
Been playing ds recently and I see it
We’ve established that Alphonse doesn’t have hands as a mule. So did he get Aesop to put that mustache on him??
