    Nice job. I use a buffer with 180 and 220. I’ve never tried 80 before. Keep up the good work and good luck this season.

    We do ours on the kart. We haven't got a surfacer yet so it works for now.

      @@kart6t3_ben Could you talk about stagger and camber?

      @@JakeSeiner stagger video done and coming soon. Camber is tricky but I can take a stab at it.

    Stupid question. Do you surface tires before a new application of prep each race week or just with new or wintered tires? My concern is if using a flap disc on Vegas, will it take so much rubber off each time that a set will only last 8-9 race days. Or is that the life expectancy of a tire?

    Hey quick question. I wonder if this system would work on asphalt karts. Seems like people just toss there tires after a weekend. I was thinking even if you could clean them up for just even practice tire sets. I'm asking cause looks like there is a big difference from wear.

      I don’t see why not. Of coarse I’ve never dealt with asphalt tires but I’ve seen them. Be worth a try to me.

    What kind of motor are you using where do you find them normally what kind of stuff do those motors come in

      This one came off a old drill bit sharpener. Tractor Supply has them for certain. Idk how cost effective this is to purchase though.

    I do all our big block modified tires and I use 24 grit on them is that too aggressive for karts ?

    • @kart6t3_ben
      @kart6t3_ben  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve seen it used, but in my opinion yes that’s too aggressive. Not nearly the amount of material as a car tire to spare. 80 is as aggressive as I like to go.

    Do you know where I can get a set of Burris.

      New or used set? Tires in general have been a little bit of a chore to get this past couple years. I would be contacting JC Specialty in Pennsylvania if I need Burris Tires.

      I’ve only had one set. Still trying to master how to do it on the surfacer.
