    Great video. Made me think about a few things for next season. You need a big buddy heater for your shop. Lol

    They way I explain clutch engagement , take an empty shopping basket and run around the corners
    It so much easier to push the kart when it's empty.
    Take that same basket now add 100# in it.
    It's gonna take you a lot more power and energy than having it loaded.
    The clutch is the same way if your stall is to low.
    Merry Christmas brother 🎄

    You know those hilliard flame or whatever... the low model... a kid (who was actually fast AF) swore to spray WD40 inside the clutch and basically power brake until it smokes real good.... run it...

    Any experience with smc. Trying to find a bully 3 disc but out of stock. They have a smc 3 disc but haven’t seen to much feedback

      They use to be super popular years ago. From what I know a high quality clutch. Might I suggest a Gator clutch from Laukatis Racing? A little more cost effective then the bully bug works well.

    How much tire ware does it needs to be before it is time to change tires or swap them around

    • @kart6t3_ben
      @kart6t3_ben  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the tire manufacturer. Burris seem to last for ever it seems. But that’s up north here. Basically I’ve found that the edges of Vega and Maxxis are a good Indicator that the tire is loosing speed. How long can you run them? As long as they hold air, but speed starts to go down after one or two races in my experience.

    On my open 116cc i run my clutch engagement at 8900-9200,thing freaking is fast as heck on restarts.😂 10,400 is insanity as buller recommends.the engine only makes 2-3ft lbs or torque less.its not as hard on clutch either.

    • @bkh5746
      @bkh5746 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Graham jarvis taught me that trick for traction..

    • @kart6t3_ben
      @kart6t3_ben  ปีที่แล้ว

      So I’m not saying anything bad against your competitors but he makes up these numbers for “peak” performance. So say your going against a Seay or Yow your don’t want any lag whatsoever and that clutch needs to hit high and tight for proper restarts or jumping off corner.

    I stall mine 4800 on my open 4 yrs not a pro;lem

    • @kart6t3_ben
      @kart6t3_ben  ปีที่แล้ว

      Every engine stall is different. My bama250 engages at 6700 engine rpm and pulls to 10500-11000
