    I need to do this because these k24 are a pain when the intake manifold is hot because of the coolant that connects to the manifold and on my k20 i never had this issue i need as much cold air as possible

    Yo bro after you cut off the coolant flow on the rbc. Do you just plug the top fitting with a vacuum cap? And reroute the coolant hose on the right side? And cap the other 2 openings?

      What fittings are you talking about? The vacuum lines? Yes plug them

    Could/should this be installed over the intake manifold gasket and not leak? Maybe it’ll still leak, if so I guess cut gasket and just Hondabond

    Bottoming tap should have been used. But hey, if cutting the bolt works without leaking that's badass!

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hasn't leaked yet

      @GEORGE LOPEZ HOW TO DO IT YOUR SELF Nice! Good to know, I have the same one, but just haven't installed it yet. Almost pulled the trigger on the tractuff just in case. This makes me more confident.

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes just like permanent but stronger. Its designed for Honda's Motorcycle Racing Team.

      Hondabond is a ceramic-acrylate RTV mixture. It's definitely the best RTV on the market, do not subsitute crappy permatex for Hondabond. Save $5 and lose 10 years of reliability.

    I dont think my mechanic tapped the head. Ive alresdy almost newrly overheated like 3 times. So far hasnt leaked at idle and the rtv has had 2 days too set
