Great composition, excellent performances by both the "duetists".
Jose Valentino is very genre-eclectic: he is melodically Classical - at times; he is fluently Organic Real Jazz; he is rhythmically Afro-Cubano spiced up with Latinized passion and emotion.
Gifts to Paquito for such a wonderful composition "Fiddle Dreams"
    Thanks, guys; well done!
Dr. J.V-R is in the House!

      wyndhl eodumegwu:
Were Paquito Jose's father, what a musical "chip from the old block" that would have been - both in first language spoken, resemblance and yes, in ability to play woodwind instruments excellently.
Paquito (Cubano) doubles on alto saxophone and clarinet; Jose (Puerto Rican), on saxophones - soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones - as well as on flute(s).
Additionally, Jose plays the bass guitar - reportedly.
      Love listening to this duo.
      Tks. for the post.

you can tell he enjoys the music, I've watched other videos I wonder how long he can do the beatboxing thing with the flute before his mouth gets tiered. He must practice a lot because he's really good both the piano player and the flute player.
