I never cringe watching your vids for either shoddy work or not using proper safety personal protective equipment. I've moved away from a couple vehicle fab channels because of both those reasons. Thanks for quality content.
I have always worked alone in my workshop, with my radio, so seeing you working like this brings back good memories, especially when I redid the bodywork of my 1975 Landcruiser BJ40! Best wishes !
Killing it as usual bud! That's gonna be one sick FJ all said and done. Hope you, scratch that.... You HAVE to make a video of that bad boy on some trails when it's ready!
Awesome rock sliders! You should get a foot pedal for the air/hydraulic bottle jack! Makes it so easy and both eyes and both hands can be focused on the part you’re bending!
Congratulations on your videos. An excellent project and all Toyota update. The Truck is looking very beautiful, a dream project for many who like vehicles in this style. One suggestion: You could build and install a roof rack, with LED bar lighting and the original neon headlights, and include more auxiliary headlights at the front, just a suggestion. I watched all the videos on the renovation or update of this Toyota of yours. And the rest of the Toyota Hilux.
Thanks for sharing. Amazing build for certain. I have a 72 1/2 FJ40 that I will get to this summer. Patching and replacing some panels and might put in my spare 350 or a 74 engine and transmission.
I feel like the Joker in Batman,.with Jack Nicholson playing him, "Where does he get all those toys?" Lol! Loving how the FJ is coming together! Keep up the great work Austin!
I am curious to see what else you have in mind to add to it. Personally several things come to mind... but I am anxious to see what you have in mind for it. This is to date the best vehicle build . Although I still like your mini truck snow plow.
All sorts of tool upgrades today, but unless I missed it your drill press is still on the floor! Hahahah. You did miss an opportunity to use your dimple dies to make some tread plates for the top of your sliders. Good work, makes me almost want to get in the garage and work on my truck.
Hey. Great channel. Like your work. How about making a stand on wheels to your metalcutter, and make the height, so the metal are able to leigh of the weldingtable, while cutting it?
I was waiting for you to pull out one of rouge fabs new presses. I was about to yelling at the tv 😂 i would love to upgrade to the power unit on my bender.
I don't know if a saw it wrong, but the way you connected the rock sliders to the cage and the frame doesn't make the cage bushings pointless? Because now the cage is solid mounted to the frame. ( Sorry for the broken English, is not my first language)
Awesome job dude. Looks great 👍 Just wondering if you happen to use any additive in your Langmuir plasma table water or if you just use plain water? I just upgraded from the pro to an XR. Way more water now and I think I should maybe add some quench to it. Keep up the awesome fabrication vids!! Love em!
out of curiosity, will the fj be road registerable where you are? in australia this wouldnt even be engineerable because of our road laws. nothing more than a 50mm suspension lift and a 50mm increase in tyre size without significant outlay for engineers, swerve testing etc
Hey man, was curious about your welding table. Did you build it or is it bought? I’m looking to do more fab work and need a small decent table to start
Just curious when you get done with all your fabrication on the land cruiser, how much is it gonna weight with all the add on and motor, tranny, axles.nice video as always 👍👍👍😎😎😎😊
Sweet sliders and shop tool upgrades!
Thanks 👍

Good practice,he has high standards and it shows in the quality of the craftsmanship.
Im a tech and hate shitty work. This is one of the few channels that doesnt do any of that
ya no short cut. sick build
Man. Those sliders fit the build perfectly. Love getting notifications for new videos.
I have always worked alone in my workshop, with my radio, so seeing you working like this brings back good memories, especially when I redid the bodywork of my 1975 Landcruiser BJ40! Best wishes !

You did a really nice job on that Austin
Sliders look awesome! Nice job
Thanks!
@@austinniemela sure thing man
Those look great. They took the appearance to the next level. Plus are functional... the build is coming along nicely 👌.
Your skill set is advancing nicely young Padawan Warrior. The force is strong in this one thinks me.
Your videography is put together really well! Enjoying watching the evolution of you build!
Sliders turned out great and those are some killer shop upgrades
Amazing WORK ❤️ 👍🏼
Your shop is really coming a long way, congratulations, keep up the good work.

Those rocksliders look real good. I think those are the best ones I've seen.
Well thank you!
The truck is looking sweet, shop upgrades are going to make life in the shop so much easier.
Sliders look good. That bender is impressive
The shop is coming along nicely!

Just realized from another video that you’re from the Spokane area. My hometown, visit a few times a year. 9 mile specifically. Love the channel!
This is expert level 😮

hello Austin
I watch your videos from France.
Congratulations on your work and accuracy in all the work done on this Toyota.
well done
Simple but functional and they look pretty decent!
I am curious to see what else you have in mind to add to it. Personally several things come to mind... but I am anxious to see what you have in mind for it. This is to date the best vehicle build . Although I still like your mini truck snow plow.

So is his side cutter.

I actually just saw that! I might have to get my hands on one!!
The fab work you are putting out is top notch brother, loving seeing the attention to detail and hard work. The rocksliders look great!
Thanks man!!
Beautiful work! 🤘👍
Nice upgrades and sliders!

I'm going to upgrade and buy one those bender setups today !
Do it!! You won’t be disappointed!!!
You do such amazing work!

Very Nice look and good job
Crasy how good you are sir...
It's going to be an epic ride !
Super nice, Stylish !!! Love them, you are the master welder !!!!=)
I would love to see some round stock on those rear body / fender edges
Great Work
Done well they look good I thought 🤙
No entiendo mucho inglés , pero me encanta ver tus videos creo que asta estoy aprendiendo un poco de inglés, eres lo mejor
We all love you man..from 🇱🇰
Could you please make a stand for that evolution saw? Those are some plans I could definitely use. FJ is looking great
Wow, great work.
Looking good. Keep up the great content.

Hey! No the sliders are on the same side of the bushing as the frame!
Did you weld a slider support to the frame and then to a bolted in component?
Either way, nice work
Awesome job dude. Looks great 👍

Splendid ❤
Amazing....good job Austin....great
Congratulations from Brazil
You look nice today and so does the fj
out of curiosity, will the fj be road registerable where you are? in australia this wouldnt even be engineerable because of our road laws. nothing more than a 50mm suspension lift and a 50mm increase in tyre size without significant outlay for engineers, swerve testing etc
Superb👍👍
De mis series favoritas 👌🏻
Looking good!
Nice job Austin!
What settings are you using with the plasma table with 1/4”? Have you tried cutting half inch yet?
Im 45ipm and 48 amp. Yes I've done a little 1/2, that's the max my machine will do!
@@austinniemela mine struggled with 1/2”! What air psi are you running?
@@PacificNWexplorer 80 psi on everything I cut!
Now you need a second hydro unit for your press, which would give you more control, especially if you add a foot control.
Hey man, was curious about your welding table. Did you build it or is it bought? I’m looking to do more fab work and need a small decent table to start
I built the table! You can find the dxf file if you want to build one at avrcustoms.com!
Am new at your keep up good work.
Who els are here to check out final part after watching clips from TikTok 😜
The rock sliders would have been cool with some sheet metal over the top. And would have been a cool place to try them dimple dies.
Yes I thought about that but I really like this look!!
Just curious when you get done with all your fabrication on the land cruiser, how much is it gonna weight with all the add on and motor, tranny, axles.nice video as always 👍👍👍😎😎😎😊
Not sure yet, id have to weigh it once its complete!
Have you decided on the exterior color?
Weld/attach a handle/wheel to the jack release on the press.
Dame Austin we want you to build a race car so bad
👍👍👍
Are you going to sell the file for the slider plans?
👍
Think about some anti-slip tape on top of these, paint should stay in as good condition as your knees without slipping and hitting the sliders 🤓🤓
Now ur.just showing off! Shame on u! 🤣😂👍 Ur killing it. Seriously, Just keep putting out great content. Pleasure u bringing us along.
Let's go baby 🤪🤘
And now cut out some skateboard tape for traction on the top of that step for functionality. Coming along
💥👍💯🇵🇭👌 nice vid man... Leta go.. keep it comin..
👌
How does that rear bump-out affect your ability to climb into that beast ?
It acts as a nice step!
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Fabtastic!
You need to buy an m18 fuel bands saw
get new boots ? I like what you are wearing. Are they Nicks ?
They are Wolverine! And very comfortable!
Please tell me you have the electronics and battery disconnected while welding.
😎👍🏻🔥💯🤘🏼🍺
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
Let’s start taking bets on how much this truck is going to weigh when done. My guess 6545 lbs.
Are going to carry it or ride it?
Is it just me or this body is like paper thin? :D
18ga! Thicker than body panels these days!
