Thank you for the explanations. I served in the US Army 1968-1971 as an enlisted REMF. As a taxpayer, I would have preferred to see all branches of the US Military to be unified, with Branches of specialties, like air, land, sea, and space. More effecient, less bloated "brass" at the top, standardized Rank systems and less lobbying and duplication in procurement. 🫡
Coast Guard has E-1 rank insignia. Each branch decide to have or not rank insignia for E-1, depending on needs. It would be nice to have insignia for E-1
I wish there was a Space Force when I was in the military (77-89). I got out after 12 years as an E-6. I might have done some kind of interservice transfer if they had such a thing. I almost went for Navy Seals when I was in. I wonder if the Space Force does have or ever will have any kind of special forces...?
I was in the Army (75-83). ETS as E-5. Interesting question, but it seems unlikely that the Space Force would need such a thing for the foreseeable future. If the SF ever put personnel actually in space then all of those would initially seem to be "special". But since all current SF members are on the ground with their attention directed upwards, there's no need.
E-1's specialize in the steepest learning curve of their young lives! They enter as individual civilians and Graduate as beginning their journey as members of integral Teams. (U.S. Army 1968-1971)
The rank structure for Commissioned Officers follows the same rank structure as it is for the other 4 older main armed forces such as the Army, Navy, USMC, and Air Force.
What I don’t understand is why we need a space force till we have several space stations and a base or two on the moon and a need for rescue and response. The Air Force can support and was doing fine supporting our satellites and fighting electronic warfare …
Yeah bro, so cartoony- with their cutting-edge technology and near untouchable nature. God, they look sooo dumb with their multi-billion dollar satellites and weapon systems. Bro, shut up 😂😂😂

Why do specialists in grade E-1 have a rank insignia when all other enlisted don't have a rank insignia? 😮

Yeah, O-10 is the highest current rank in Space Force until someone decides to create the rank of Sky Marshall or Space Marshall...
I thought the Officer rank would be delta-arrow shaped instead of ordinary Air Force bars…
Beautiful; beautiful 1:19 1:27
Space Force
Looks like THE NAVY
How can an E-1 possibly be a speialist about anything? Puffery?
He isn’t a specialist at anything he’s a specialist at nothing which is what the space force is…nothing
They smart

KIND OF STUPID TO GIVE SECOND LIEUTENANT A GOLD BAR AND FIRST LIEUTENANT A SILVER BAR I THINK IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND

It was originally brass…for lower ranks back when Britannia ruled the waves…the U.S. did its own thing …

Yeah? That's probably what they said about the US Army Air Force a hundred years ago. Nobody is laughing at the USAF now, are they?
What a joke.
@@xiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiix5047ASVAB score requirements for the Space Force are higher than most of all of the other services.
