I agree with everything you've said. My anxiety goes thru the roof when I've got to do things on line and fill forms out. Trouble is nobody wants to help. I feel for the oldies even older than me. I'm 60. 😒🙄🤪 I had trouble filling the on line council form out so I rang them. The lady on the phone told me to do it on the computer and not to ring up again. She helped eventually but insisted I hadn't to ring up again.
It's awful really because so many people miss out on things because they can't cope with paperwork. If things carry on people like us will be left behind.
You expressed my same befuddlement with the mind-numbing paperwork of Officialdom...and all the tech that's SUPPOSED to make modern life so great. I'm 70 now and sorta miss the days when life seemed to make more sense. Ah well--your humorous take on the nuttiness of life today really makes me smile! 😉
Hi luv..your not the only one with these problems..we had similar trying to renew our passports.. horrendous..the post office will only check it's right..for a charge..we did it ourselves eventually..hope you are well..💐
I am good thanks. I need to get a passport sorted too, but this was ridiculous enough. I will wait until I know how to get a photo taken and fill a form out before I try that lol
I went into a local hotel for afternoon tea with a friend on Tuesday. I went to pay and they refused to take cash - our own currency! I often wonder what this world is coming to when we can’t use legal tender in the form of bank notes to make a purchase anymore.
It's crazy. If we lose physical money then we are reliant on digital money which we can see can be easily taken , and I do t trust technology either. One glitch and it falls down.
I got my passport photo done at max speelmans, don’t know if that’s how you spell it. It was 4 years a go, it was so easy the staff that work there do it. It’s in the town where I live don’t know if they are all over the country. Feel like I’m being left behind, don’t like all this technology. God help us if we do go cashless!! 😫xx

Me too. I said in some ways I would like to go back to the days when things where easier and you didn't have to deal with robots and computers. )

You need to spin the seat in the booth that highers it👍
The seat was a wooden bench and it was fixed. There was no way to adjust your position. These modern booths are rubbish lol
