Trolling the bait I think you will get the depths listed on package. I like the flicker shad. I picked up another size 9 today. I’ve caught two of my best walleyes with them 👍🏻
Honestly the silver and black flicker shad 5 has earned its place in my favorite lure category. I have had huge success trolling it and have caught very nice size largemouth bass, smallmouth, bluegill, stripers, and even trout. A great all around lure. I just purchased the jointed flicker shad so Im super curious to see if it performs aswell as the traditional.
The Size #7 is my go to when things are tough. I also like the size #9 to get deep. I also fish the #9 very slow in winter because it gets down deep and gets strikes when nothing else it working.
Like others mentioned, this bait is mostly used while trolling, not so much casting. Great inexpensive bait for trolling tho. Also, if you look at a lures weight before using you’ll know what tackle you need to cast. Good vid tho guys, keep it up!

I found that a flicker shad 5 works really well, it’s a tad bigger than the 4 but you should try it!

3.99 I paid 6.79 @ my Walmart in El Paso TX . That's crazy 😮
I've had great luck with baitcaster light med heavy rod and 10 pd line. I run it like a crankbait
works for us with the listed depths and we fish for walleye!

I troll with two number 7 from my kayak and really caught some nice bass… this lure is a killer when trolled
Just picked up a Flicker Shad 5

I found casting this on a baitcasrer tough even with my brakes up
Its because it's an ultralight it's ment for a spinning rod and reel
Great lure have great success with white and silver and black
my buddy caught a 23 lb. pike on it, good lure
These lures are deadly if you troll them. Depending on the depth you want will very on the size of your flicker shad lure.
Your a pro with the baitcaster
I wouldn’t go that far😂 just my preference. Thanks for watching -B
Can you review the Berkley hit stick? UK viewer
Sure can bro. Look for it in the spring/summer months though. 👍
A number 4 FS is not going to cut it. You should have used a 7. My favorite all around for casting like a DT-6.
Noted! Thanks!
That lure is good for bass but it's better for walleye
Bottom line is I know I will cath on this bait it's the middle of winter so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
