WHICH CRANKBAIT catches more bass? Rapala Shad Rap vs Berkley Flicker Shad - Crankbait Wars

In this video, I troll with the Rapala Shad Rap and the Berkley Flicker Shad to see which crankbait will catch more bass. These are both jointed crankbaits with similar color patterns that run at virtually the same depth, so this should be an interesting experiment.

Sweet comparison between these two baits. Trolling was a great idea on how to compare them. Great catches on the day! It's crazy how similar these two are.

It's hard to beat the value and performance of a flicker shad / flicker minnow. I get everything from perch to salmon on them. Nice comparison - kayak trolling is a blast.

I’ve caught equal amounts using the 2 , trolling and casting but I do like the colors from Berkley, think the flicker shad has a slight difference in wobble

Flicker baits are better for trolling. Shad Raps are better for casting.

Thanks Mike! The V-blade is one *_sick-lookin'_* lure, dude. I think I'll have to do a video comparing one of those to another blade lure or perhaps a lipless crank. The fishing seems to have slowed down here in central NC in the last couple of weeks, but that might just be me. I'm going to Lake James soon (about 2 hours west of Winston-Salem) to hopefully get into some smallmouth.
