For a diorama the window definitely needs a black background at least, at best they could have hinted at the battle outside in mini format. All of this is horrendously sparse.
I love the lack of pupils in the newer dark side figs like palps and grand inquisitor. Looks good and captures the charm of the simplistic early star wars figs. They should do this for maul too and get rid of the goofy eye misprints
@@apparentlyjeremy I don't think so at all. It's highly innacurate and one of Maul's primary characteristics is his eyes and how animalistic and hating they look. They're messing up bad with the lack of pupils for the Sith characters.

@@MandRproductionsDoes anyone have influence over Lego Idea? Could one of you suggest to Lego a production proposal for a Lego Star Wars magazine in which you get a minifigure of the Imperial Honor Guard in the red robes.
I LOVE!!! The building techniques used in this diorama especially that window this is hands down the best throne room window we’ve ever gotten whoever came up with that is a genius as far as I’m concerned
I still really love how fun the trench run set was to put together, it'll be hard to top all of those sweet greebles. However as long as it's well-executed, a diorama of the Episode 3 duel on Mustafar would be my all-time fave. The prequels have a lot of potential for this style of product. Like the podrace, battle at Theed, the Geonosis arena battle, the fight against Dooku (the man needs a new minifig release) the battle over Coruscant, rescuing Palpatine, Obi-Wan vs Grievous, Palpatine's arrest. The minifigure possibilities alone make my mouth water
Visual appeal alone I think it’s the overall best looking of the dioramas. This one or maybe Degoba are the only ones I would display in my office, so far.
I think the panel with the lightning pieces may not just be for accessing the bolts. I think it's so you can place the Emperor in there for when Anakin tosses him in the hole.
My favourite diorama yet, build is great, figs are great price is questionable and there's a distinct lack of royal guards. Overall It's real good though so a 9/10 imo .
Ok this is more like it! The build is great and the figures look great. I love that new Luke hair piece. It's way too expensive, of course, and the lack of royal guards is annoying, but understandable, given their minor role in the scene. It's just a shame they didn't put the same level of effort into the figures in the speeder bike chase as they did in this one.
Classy, Stylish and obviously Iconic. I think it's really good. I think the new hair piece on Luke actually does bring out Hamill's actual face shape more and defines him better as a really true likeness. Solid diorama. Tough price but Original Star Wars will always be extremely high
Noticed that the robot arms on one of the fences isn't quite clasping the rod that's meant to be the railing. It's visible at 3:27. Just pointing it out since that's one way that such pieces become permanently loose and furthermore useless by the time you try and rightly pop them into place. Keep up the excellent content. Cheers.
@@dqarqeer8603 the old one was NOT accurate at all. Re watch the movie and you'll see the new one is damn near spot on. Idk how ppl like you have such horrid takes

Ya this one looks really good I still think it could have more detail though. The yodas swamp diorama is such a detailed diorama set and is one of my favorites sets ever because of how good it looks on display. Wish they’d put in that level of detail especially for the speeder chase.
Concerning the accuracy of Vader's torso, technically he should also have black shoulder armor instead of silver ones. I also think this set should have more minifigs with this very high price. I can somewhat understand that the set does not have royal guards considering that they only stand at the elevator door in the movie. However this set could have also been a great opportunity to finally do a moff Jerjerrod (preferrably with another rank insignia than in the movie bc the costume department messed that up in RotJ) and Palpatine's dignitaries. Luke's new hair piece is really awesome but no reason to buy this set because it will not stay exclusive for 99.9999%. The emperor also looks pretty nice. I like that they made his facial expressions a little more serious, the last faces maybe were a little too comical. Though I wonder how he would have looked with black pupils, but all in all it works for me pretty well with or without black pupils. Considering that I already have the 2015 final duel set and three Vaders with arm printing and the full price is ridiculous I will not buy this set for regular prices and discounts. This set has to get at least 30 % discount to get me to consider buying it.
Hopefully Lego will make dioramas of the prequels. Qui-Gon Jinn/Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul or the Gungan city from Ep I, Obi-Wan/Anakin/Yoda vs Dooku from Ep II, or even better yet the Windu vs Palpatine scene in Ep III would be really cool.
I'd like to point out that you can get Indian Jones "Escape from the Lost Tomb" and "Fighter Plane Chase" both together for less money than this one set! And Indiana Jones is also a licensed theme owned by Disney.
Add a lighting kit to that and you have an even better display diorama. "Ahh, Diorama-rama, my favorite event next to hearing test Tuesday" - Seymour Skinner
I just wish they gave Luke the white cloth fold that happens at the end of battle. The last time we got that was in the Endor play set. It makes more sense in that set but they gave him a new print anyway. At least for this price they could’ve added an extra torso. And he could’ve had a new face print too with a much angrier face and a painful face for when he’s getting shocked.
I was on vacation in my home town last week and the Wal-Mart in town had this set for only $56 because of a tear on the box! I was not paying $100 for this set so to finally get it for almost half price had me thrilled!!!
