@@TiagoCatarino Every for summer 2023 but not every in general. Sets like tie bomber, upcoming fang fighter vs tie interceptor, Inquisitors ship were well priced. Indiana Jones licensed sets are reasonably priced as well. There still can be good priced sets but I guess not in 18+ zone.
@@TiagoCatarino that logic doesn't work. Its 100% possible for every set to be overpriced. If I change the price of Volkswagen beetles to 10 mil/each is it now worth 10 million because all the others are also overpriced? Or are they all just overpriced?
Thank you for being one of the only people online who seem to understand the problems with the massive UCS sets. Yes they're cool and stuff but they're just too big and too expensive. Even if I could afford a 600 € LEGO set I wouldn't be able to fit it in my apartment 😂
And even if you have the money and have some space to place it in, you're likely to prefer using said space for something else if you're not some mega fan. For example, I could get a Razor Crest (would hurt my wallet a little, but doable) and put it on top of a bookshelf, but I have other things I like to keep there and just don't find myself wanting it enough to rearrange my living space.
I bought my first UCS set the republic gunship and it has totally taken up an entire desk thanks to those huge wings. They are cool and all but space is a big issue. The other sets can easily rest on shelves and don’t take up tons of space.
there made for the people who can, and can store it. Why do u care about them in the first place if you cant afford them or have a place for them? They make sets perfectly targeted for you, leave the bigger sets for the people who actually want a huge MOC type build but as an official set without purchasing those pieces individually which would cost way more than just buying the set.
Great points about the different audiences and the issue of collecting larger UCS sets. I simply can't justify the space for the UCS sets as much as I love them and the three sets here have me reaching for my wallet. Great review, can't wait for the review of the UCS X-wing.
@@RoscoeWasHere Depends on the set. A really good snokes throne room, hyperspace ram, or luke/kylo duel would probably sell well (not sure how they would manage that last one, but still).

These would be more popular Adult oriented sets if they weren't so ridiculously overpriced. I genuinely cannot understand how you don't see the two dioramas as expensive. Yes they're in line with prices of the rest of the theme but the majority of the theme is equally overpriced. I also feel the Throne room would have looked better without the plate built border it has around the window as that only distracts my eyes from the actual window which is the more important detail. I love the new more translucent Lightsaber blades as Lightsabers have never been transparant and the new ones create the inner white beam of the blades far better in my opinion.
Cool sets, but the licensed LEGO pricing is getting RIDICULOUS, they're really testing how much they can charge the customers. Remember the only way to vote on the prices is buying or not buying the product from them.
