This kind of revival is nice for a change. I hardly see any OBD II vehicle revivals from sitting after X amount of years. I figure many dont find them as entertaining as reviving a car with a big 4bbl carburetor with simple technology. Nice for a change nonetheless.
I had a 2001 Dodge Durango SLT 360 V-8 engine 4wd. One of the best vehicles I've ever owned. I got 19mpg. hwy. and 14 mpg. everyday. I wish i would have kept it. It had 146,000 miles , never touched the engine , trans. , A/C or cooling system. Just regular maintenance.
On my 98 Durango, It makes a clunking sound when going slow around a turn and I can feel the truck decelerating as I make the turn. Like really decelerating. Any idea why?
On dakotas and durangos, brake and abs lights are a fixture, then,, they,re not there, then they are, with perfectly working systems, with new parts, or they wont right away when you change everything, a thousand miles later, they're back
chrysler/dodge/plymouth are notorious for electrical issues, swap out the alternator with a refurbish, swap out the spark plugs, the wires, put in an additive engine cleaner, see what happens
Thats hilarious! I just put a community post up like an hour ago. I wanted to finish up my K1500 which I should be done with this weekend. (video for that tomorrow) Then I'm back working on this Durango again. I'm aiming for an update video July 1st! :)

maybe try the welder trick on the batteries - project farm did a decent video recently.

not all holes are rust some rotted holes are for weight loss or could say speed holes to get a better air flow for a slower vehicle to go faster. LOL.
It's obviously just weight reduction for performance
