Lanarie's brother's philosophy reminds me of Kreia from Kotor II. She's all about how the Sith are weak because while they are strong with the force, without it they are nothing.
I hear you on on the... "to many species" thing, but I came to accept it because... the premise of the tho yor gathering force users from across the galaxy is a great idea for how the Jedi started, and if there arent many species then... it makes less sense? But at the same time some part of it feels like, they just wanted it to feel as "star warsey" as possible with later stories. I came to accept it, but it still feels... off... I kind of iwsh it was a lot more obscure species, instead of just... every popular star wars species... it has wookiees, zabrak, and miraluka. IF they had made the composition of Tython out of obscure, or even new, species I think that it would have been better.
honestly, i’d be okay if they didn’t. the legends “dawn of the jedi” era is interesting, but i think the new canon take on the era should have a fresh start. i’d take a tho yor easter egg or something, though.
Respect to you and your grind bud. I'll check out the rest of your vids. But keep in mind this is one of the worst newer legends novels, it only gets better from here. Also the comics from this era that you covered already are much better then this book as well. Great vid tho.

The plot reminds me a lot of the blonde twins from Visions that fight

I wonder if the upcoming "Prime Jedi" film will borrow any elements from the "Dawn of the Jedi" books and comics? 🤔
