Lol, funniest thing about this game for me was my fiance's reaction to every part going "what is this game even about? One moment theres a chocobo, another time theres the shadow realm, now there's dancing, and then some serious stuff happens"
Yup. This series makes no fucking sense and I absolutely love it
The sharp tonal variations ranging from high camp to transcendent romance are what keep me coming back to the Final Fantasy series.

Just the fact Nanaki's intonation changes the minute you step in Cosmo Canyon was shocking... the voice acting blew my mind.

pretty sure the kid that talks at 1:18:09 is voice actor erica mendez who plays gon from hunter x hunter and ryuko from kill la kill

in the realistic graphic version of Final Fantasy I'd prefer Brunette and black hair girls over blondes

Aaaaaw there are too many wholesome moments that it makes me kinda sad. The events after chapter 12 were pretty heavy and dark and looks like we're gonna miss those small moments now that one has left the team
Briana White's voice as Aerith really helps me relax. I can listen to her all day.

Each Final Fantasy is a unique story. So glad that i played almost all of them.

@@chunlidefeated while I generally caution against playing a game with the expectation that it be "similar" to X game (as I think it can affect one's ability to enjoy the new game as its own thing), Final Fantasy X is an absolute masterpiece. Some parts are infuriating, and I recognize my love for even the tedious parts is largely nostalgic, but the game is objectively incredible and emotional.
Damn, that moment with Cloud and troopers on 36:37 was so good😢
Funniest moment was Aeruth getting climber's high and becoming one with the mountain lol
