I've just moved to a suburb in Melbourne which is dominated by Vietnamese. My God, the food here is amazing, I'm eating out almost constantly. I've always liked Vietnamese food, but now I'm all in.
Hi Joehow are you? I am still watching, but have not been leaving any comment lately. Glad you are enjoying Vietnamese food as much as Thai food. Enjoy your day!!!
The way you eat quẩy is the same way that I eat it. It's for when you finished with your noodle, left with the broth, then you soak the quẩy into the broth and eat it. The pho in this location is really good. My favorite place to have breakfast on a weekend.
Nice one, Joe. All looked good, especially the banh mi and the cookies. I dunno where they get that NYC thing for the cookies, since I come from NYC and never saw anything approaching that, except maybe in specialty venues. The fish noodles looked great too, I just have a thing with bones which might be a problem, but I bet those flavors were special.
Seeing you praise Banh Mi sandwich, Pho noodles as well as many foreign tourists love Coffee culture in Vietnam, I understand why McDonald's and Starbuck are dominating the world but failing miserably in Vietnam. These days, 2 big brands are closing many branches and leaving the central area in Ho Chi Minh city.

@@TheJoeyP 😂😂 I'm down for some of the little quail ones... snack size! The Pho spot looks great, TBH, and will be a target if schedules allow. Feb is BKK, Saigon, back to BKK then Penang! Trying to do some filming, finally!
Even if the chickens are not free range they are not hormone injected monstrosity like they are here in US. That means you always get a good soup base and the meat is fcking tender.

Did you leave MAdeira island Joey?? 😢
Only for travel :) I’m conscious not to be a Madeira channel - although Madeira is my base and I’ll be returning soon and filming more content

@@TheJoeyP No worries!
Anyone else hearing demon voices in the background audio???
Haha the audio was bad as the mic wasn’t switched on, so I had to run it through Ai and it does that sometimes with other peoples voices! No demons
